Oh yeah! Lol I think everyone can relate to being sick about the false preaching work. I've learned to ignore them because they have rights just like everyone else.

Hi Guys, I'm new here...
by Mikado inbeen lurking for years, but couldn't log on.
for some reason, my email spam filter is inaccessable, and ended up having to open another account, simply to become a member... wonder how many others have had a similar problem.. its been an eye opener reading everyones life experiences, often so similar.. i was almost a born in, with a hardcore family.
abusive stepfather who was one of the original jws in the area, so much so, that it was called the xxxxx family religion.... been out for 25 years, am glad every day for that!!.

IF THERE WAS NO FIRST HUMAN.....
by DATA-DOG in...and new species of "humans" have appeared gradually, do we have "x-men" amoung us??
so many people are willing to automatically discount abilities that cannot, as of yet, be explained by our current scientific knowledge.
is it too frightening to entertain the idea that there are new and possibly better "humans" in our ranks?

Mom is coming over tomorrow. What should I ask?
by Faithful Witness inmy mother is visiting us again tomorrow, only 5 weeks since her last visit.
things seem to be going pretty well with her, and the kids are enjoying having grandma back in our routine.
she is retiring at the end of may (age 65), so she promises that this is going to mean more time with family.

I had a big laugh about the last Baptist church and donations. I went to a city church that does not state but one time they are Baptist conference. Mainly do good for the community and help each other through church groups. Passing the donation plate during good Friday just seemed greedy but they said it was going to go for the poor!
Anyhow, years ago I went to one assembly and I watch how people donated money! Arrogance, many would walk up to the boxes looking over their shoulders just to see who was watching them. Like an odd self pride. After paying attention I thought passing the plate was not so bad! e

What Do I Do With This RED Book?
by Cold Steel insome guys visited me a couple of times, and i asked them about the book of revelation.
one of them brought me a red book with a lot of illustrations and at the end of every page or so the guy had dated the day he had read it.
he also marked certain passages.

OR
Study that book and when the guy comes back have him clarify if he believes it!
It has a lot of false teachings in it! Worse WT book ever written.

The Governing Body told two Elders to call !!!!
by Phizzy ina friend from the other end of the country just 'phoned and told me that a couple of days ago two elders knocked on his door.
he has been out for four or more years.. they told him it was c.o's visit, and the governing body have asked them to call on those whom they no longer see at the k.hall.. i guess this is an easier "field" than knocking on doors that never open, or where they are told "not interested".. my friend bill though, was not such an easy call.
apparently he managed to get in about 1914 being rubbish, the bible not being the word of god, because we cannot trust it, 1919 being rubbish as to the choosing of the fds and several other telling points.. i liked particularly that he said to them they were rather hypocritical asking householders to examine their faith, when jw's were simply not allowed to !.

Requirements for the Anointed
by HeyThere inso i have a question...according to the bible, the anointed are virgins, among other things.
so how are married fathers and mothers able to be anointedwhy xoes nobody question this?
now, i did see in this past weeks wt they mentioned "spiritual virgins" which is not in the bible...why do people believe this stuff they spew....it is so weird!

I believe the 144,000 were chosen from the tribes of Israelites and were literal. I believe the number started with the ones under the alter and 144,000 were added then it continues until the great crowd are completed. No human knows the final number but God does.
It is Revelations so nothing is for sure.

I like it X men and aliens.
Although, aliens have strange fish that walk on ground they have twenty legs and wide huge mouths! I guess our air would be cleaner!
DDog I watch YouTube so their could be some humans out there with abilities! Still working on why a little girl can make objects move.
It would be interesting if there was a gradual slight change in humans! Like the abilty to see microscopic organism. Although that would freak me out! Hear things common average person could not. Hmm that would give me a headache! For some reason people with higher IQ seem very different but nice and maybe they are part of the super human race! They are changing the world to a better place. It would be something,if some of these geniuses, kids, find cures to heal but accidentally caused x men. Cure common colds brings back telepathic abilities. I just making it up! But I understand what your saying and like it!

OMG!! Andre from the YPA video gave our Memorial talk.. My thoughts:

I do not recall ever going to the Memorial and hearing such an awful talk as what you described!
It is total lack of respect for Jesus Christ sacrifice! Plugging in Jw.org I hate hearing plugs! Twice sucks and you stayed!
How nice are you to do this with your wife! You must really love her! I ranted! :-)
