thing is, she is 27. the elders didn't stop her and no one was like wtf.
can someone be anointed at age 27?.

Dealing with overbearing parent?
by make yourself inhow was it growing up dealing with over bearing parents being a born in?
right now i'm being guilt tripped about relationships and friendships with normal people.
it makes no sense to me, how can you tell someone who is grown not to hang out with certain individuals?

New to The Jehovahs Witness Faith and need some help

i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.
we do about 2 bible studies a week.

Also, I want to know if you pray for your husband,brother,and people in authority and government?
How about the kingdom hall, are they praying for government? People in office? Or do they think it is the Governing Body? See how they will twist following scriptures to mean WT Governing Body! So that is a red flag!
JW do not ever pray for presidents or officers! In fact do they pray for anyone outside the religion!
You have a problem because it goes against the bible. No matter what you are welcome here.

i shouldn't be, right, because my life is empty without "jehovah" and the organisation.. but i just got a job at one of the best theme parks in the world, which is so what i want to do, and it's the first permanent job i've had since i lost my government job in 2012!.
the job pays minimum wage but i don't care because working in tourism and entertainment is what i want to do!

by Infowarrior injust to let everyone know, a good channel on youtube that i have watched for many years has suddenly been terminated by youtube.
im not sure what video was the issue, his last video was on the occult theocracy book, and others.
i dont really know how his channel got in trouble, as i dont remember him having any videos that could be considered copyright infringments as they are all personal commentary.. interesting.

I am not too sure what is worse believing in aliens or listening to crazy JWs talk! I think JWs win.

First Post - Emotionally Torn
by scaredtospeak ini haven't been on here long but i found this site a couple days ago and quickly realised it had a lot of posts by people going through similar experiences as me.
i read some of the answers and it helped relieve some inner anguish i've been carrying since everything i came clean to my parents about everything i've been reading about.. .
i just have been going through a rough patch right now; that might be an under or overstatement depending on your own personal experiences with this kind of stuff.

Yes, parents really know how to make you feel guilty!
I remember how much my mother threw guilt trips on me for wanting to go to another church.
Parents will control you until they realize you are making your own decisions.
Later, they might look at you with disappointment but will say it is your choice and they love you. If not let them know.
Just stick to your choices for now, because it is not like things do not change.
Evolution or Creation are not life! They are just topics. It is not a matter of life or death to question or doubt Creation.
Your parents made their choices and you have the right to make your own choices.
Ignore the guilt trips, I am sure your parents will have plenty more to sling.
Better that you were honest.

Steve 2 good point, 10 million Sudan might die before the years up! Emotional abuse of the WT can not ever compare with physical starvation.
Individual JW allow the WT to control them to shun their families. Some would throw their family away even if they were not JWs. That is reality. People have a choice and hid behind rules.
Most the JW snub each other all the time with clicks and petty disagreements!
