  why would they think that just because you no longer post on a chevy truck forum or a los angeles lakers forum the world would crumble around those still left there.

  So,Let me say,If regular JWs publisher does something wrong! He needs to take full responsibilty. He can not blame others for his/her sinful nature because that would be considered non remorseful and bad attitude.

  However, if GB enforces a law through WT articles and books he can blame it on the light,holy spirit, and Jehovah when things go wrong. Therefore, never takes responsibilty for mentally and physically harming billions of lives!

  Statements like,"It is Jehovah we need to wait on for new information." is actually lacking responsibilty and blaming God!

  i include, in the term, chinese world, not merely the people's republic of china, but all chinese speaking peoples.

  note that chinese speaking and chinese accultured people often form significant population segments in other countries.. and please note, that when a story is told visually, we are in the thrall of the story-teller, seeing the world through his/her eyes, seeing what that person has selected for us to see.

  a perfectly obvious fact, when the story-teller stood in front of us.

  Watching someone dress up in a bunny outfit and killing people is not worth watching.

  The one about the young couple might be ok, but I not interested in the long conflected stares.

  Watching police and boys, not my style.

  The WT will probably borrow his numerlogy for their new and improved Revelations Book.

  That was one of the best mayonnaise commercials ever done.

  Unbalanced way of thinking?

  so, one hot beautiful (not a cloud in the sky) kind of summer day, there was an elder who decided to re shingle his house.

  this was on the book study day.

  he started early and got all the shingles off of the roof in time for the book study that night.

  There was plenty of those kinds of JWs here in the North West. Anything for a laugh it goes way beyond stupidity.

  Rutherfords campaigns were rallys against basically the Catholics. I was surprised how violent the JWs were with there canes.

  The KM sure is pushing retirement homes! Elderly.

  I guess they will do anything to get their bible studies numbers up! Just had to laugh about it!

  WT admitted "Jehovah" is not God's name...

  if i remember right(unlikely, lol) it was a one-page article about the tetragrammaton which concluded by saying that even though "jehovah" was 'probably' not an accurate pronunciation, it is a widely-recognized and accepted english transliteration of the divine name.

  i was thinking it was on the last page or maybe the back cover of a wt pub - maybe a watchtower.. can someone please direct me to the publication it was in?

  i read it when i was still 'in' and it made me stop and think about how much emphasis the wt puts on that name, all while knowing it's not the name.

  If you go door to door as Yahweh Witness that would make you from another religion. Might be fun! :-)

  Neither is 1 Corthians 5 a bases for shunning JW style. JW want somone dfd so the dfd can be a target for others to shun! Compared to let the Jewish person stay home and do not invite him to dinner. :-)

  Compare Paul's Teary Letter to WT rules and harsh cruel punishment!

  Paul actually was anguished over his past letter he wrote in 1 Corthians 5. He cried many tears!

  Enough to move him to write to forgive this person.

  One more thought in 2 Corinthians 1

  23 Moreover I call God as witness against my soul, that to spare you I came no more to Corinth.

  It was against his soul! to spare the congregation, why? Because they neglected to forgive! After tgat is his big forgiveness words.

  So what ever you think you have done the only thing one needs to do is trust God for forgiveness.

  Also, when someone sins the test is on the congregation to forgive because the sinner was immediately forgiven through prayer.

  WT seems to neglect this very important concept.
