It is because men have too much balls and that is a good reason why they should not be leaders or elders in churches. Men have done too much crimes against humanity.

Good topic! I been dinged in other forms because I stand to go against ex elders who think that they should abide by Pauls teachings.
What would Paul do in our modern times? Many nondenominational churches believe men are the head of the congregations as pastors.
Although most men are qulified but so are women! Non denominational is not progressive enough.
Lately I started thinking that Paul would place women on equal terms in modern Christianity.
It really is tough to find progresseive churches,women to be elders and pastors,that are still teaching high morals standards.
Sure would like to find one! I would go but the bottom line they need good sermons!
I need to add that Pauls writing are fine until I read some of his out dated congregations leadership.

I have been trying to write you for hours! Sorry I have no wisdom on the subject so only you know what to do. The dark path not willing to work on what? marriage.
Ok but I do know what being under shock looks like,and being depressed because the scales on my eyes have fallen off! My fantasy paradise crushed. Being so angry that I point out doctrine errors to people who do not recognize their own doctrines! I hope you regonize that when your no longer blinded by doctrines you go through all kinds of shock,anxiety,denial,anger,and arguing to wake people up. After all who will you share your findings with family. However, their are some people who just do not care about knowing the errors they just walk away and live life! I was not one of them and after watching them live life and seeing how they do it. My life became better. Now,I do not need to argue and just live life. Frankly it is kind of shocking but the majority of exjw do not care and just live life.
Your making your problem hers so when you understand that you do not need to argue doctrines any more. It frees you up to be the man who is looking out for his wives happiness. If it makes her happy to be a JW as long as you can find common grounds that is all you want for her is to be is happy. Common grounds,she respects your no longer a JW and wants you to be happy no matter what.

Dating
by d inas a ex jw i am cyncial to dating perhaps because i did not do much dating as a jw.
do any of you still feel this way?
i am not against dating but i am still that dating and getting yourself emontionallt attached is sort of a way of being in chains..

Maybe your thinking like a JW that dating should end up with marriage or at least have it in your mind.
How about just having fun and two people enjoying each others company. If it works out to something more that would be great but if not maybe you have a new coffee date.

If your wife celebrated your daughters bday maybe you should ask how she would feel. Include her.

Hello,I did go back and things changedl. I can say that some times I missed what I thought I had in the organization. Friends. I thought I would do better in life maybe find friends to socialize.
None of it happened it was odd! They do not have get togethers. I was never invited to anyones homes.
After so many years of sitting there,I had to get out! It was not going to happen.
Life can be tough but going back to.the JWs was a shock. Most were so unfriendly and paranoid.
They do nothing for fellowship. Jehovahs Witnesses do not fellowship with each other. No gatherings!
Also, the teachings changed.

by DATA-DOG inas of yet, no member of the jehovah's witness faith can defend their unique beliefs.
when the dust settles, it all comes down to blind faith in men's ever-changing ideas.
this "unique belief" was not a "true teaching of the bible.

Why would God need to publish magazines when all scriptures are from God?
If given by the holy spirit to write then why would they error. It should be the opposite writings with out errors of future prophecy. Written by Holy Slirit would be so fantastic it would compare to the bible.
It does not matter if Moses are Abraham was imperfect God bible proves they were choosen.
Where are the evidence the GB or Jehovahs Witnesses are God's choosen. They are not written in the bible. Who declares them the air!

Like young people are suppose to know how to pick a good mate from a WT.
I can tell you one major problem from my own past experience. If a young girl starts dating a man with a shady past and the elders know about it. You will be the last to know that you just married a sex offender,drug addict, hard core pornography, sex with family members,alcoholic and anything goes type of a person. One can live a double life.
I married someone like that and the overseer studied with his family. He was close friends with my father in law. Forty years later, still trying to understand why me, I was talking with my ex sister in law and she said the overseer knew everything about my ex! Probably not sex with family members but who knows! Here I was naive and did not know anything!
So I think this is a very important topic to warn the young JWs.
