Conti update article: "Watchtower Loses Conti Appeal - But Fights On"

The WTBTS has not lost any appeals, and has actually achieved more success in its post trial motions than most losing defendants do.

That is Watchtower's biggest downfall. Watchtower has suceessfully deceived everyone of their true identity. Things won't be as easy for Watchtower anymore. Watchtower is facing a very much different legal issue this time with the mindset of 1950's.


I personally know of one person raised a JW who went to school for the expressed purpose of becomeing a lawyer for the Organization. I think, but I'm not totally sure, that the Org actually paid for his law school. Watchtower is sending JWs to law school and paying for their entire tuitions for purpose of becoming lawyers for the Organization. The CO mentioned this in his talk during his visiting in late 2007. I do not believe this info was a part of the outline, thought.

Recovery, I was highly offended by your thread on Candace Conti which I refused participate myself in it.

I resolved myself not to read your thread again. Well, I decided I will give you another chance of benefit of a doubut. After all, if it wasn't us who would put up with you. In contrast, I doubt if any JW will be there for you once they've learned your current brazen conduct.

From reading your last post on Conti, I can tell you have not read the Conti court transcript. Please point the contradictions of Conti that you are claiming! Watchtower ad hominem and red herring stlyes doesn't work here. Argue your point with the evidence or written document.

For me, it was at first JW elders' pharasaic callous behavior. For the longest time, I believed it was just a few local JW elders that were being out of line. I appealed my case to the GB. That's when I was forced to realize who are the behind all the injustice, persecution of child sexual abuse victims and their families, covering up elders' abuses and shifting the blame on Rank & File, all about saving their reputation and position, throwing their devoted loyal servants to a lion's pit mercilessly. In fact, these people would sign contract with the devil if it benefits them. I eyewitnessed JW elders working with and helping a pedophile to punish his victim who's child.

One thing for sure I can tell you that whatever devotion you have given to the GB will not be given any consideration nor will be rewarded once you were found in a needy situation. You will not only be own your own but also be smashed by your religious leaders for you crying for help and justice.

For your record, I never once doubted their ever changing docitrines. I fully, without the slightiest doubt, accepted as new lights everytime. I was a true believer. The only thing bothered me was their anticipating of coming of right around the corner Armaggeddon. I personally couldn't justfy when should be the perfect day for killing seemingly innocent people especially children.

I hope you see the light sooner than later. Every clicking minute is wasted in devoting to scams.

You are taking your power back. Good for you! I agree with you 100%.

While Tylinbrando made some good points and sugessetions, they apply more to older children like teens, in my opinion. I understand your children are still very young. Another thing, never walk away your home especially without your children. What 00DAD said. Stand your ground for your children sake.

It is your own conviction which is the key in dealing with Phariseese. Read chapter 9 of John. Notice how a healed blindman responded. Make sure you are in charge not them.

Cancel or delay the meeting. Just tell them you have something come up or you aren't feeling well or anything that you can think of. You are in charge.

Once you were charged for a slandering, you have no way out because phariseese have the agenda on you. Do not play by their rule. Tell them you are not talking with 2 elders(2 witnesses against you) unless you can also bring another person that has your interest. You are in charge. Never consult or talk with more than one elder at a time. Don't make things easier for pharisees. Borrow your time as much as you can since you are not ready for disfellowshipping.(Although I don't believe enduring and facing their malicious persecution beyond reasonable period is good for your welfare in spiritually, psycologically, emotionally and physically)

I was in your shoes 2 years ago. "Malicious Slandering" was the charge, pharisees finally come up on me. I provided them the definitions of malicious and slandering. The Pharesees were forced to drop the charge since no evidence or witnesses on me for the charge. They changed the charge to "malicious lying." And then finally to "reviling." I was to revile elders by talking negatively about them to others which once again another their false accusation against me. Not that I didn't believe elders were bad in fact they were child abusers but I kept it to myself from cult members. And they come up with 2 false witnesses at the JC.

I hope your pharisees are less malicious than mine.

I am enjoying a cult free life these days. My best days are yet to come.

i need help with a big problem with my sister (jw) who has been removing money from my moms bank account and saving it for her 'needs'.

i am moms poa, and apostate, and she refuses to let me see the account or have access to these funds on the premise i will 'blow every dime' if she does.

Nice to want! Rather than give them $500, they should give mom $500 for ederly support.

There's good chance whatever stolen is long gone. I would call Police back and make a detailed police report on her.

a member suggested this i am disassociated 3 years and divorced one with a life of hell marriage and brain washed but worn out fighting to get back that is nothing but a bunch of back stabbing people in that organization, brain washed and taught to divide familys, they want you in but not, its like football with them same type of plays.

i now have found people where i go that doesn't teach love the live this.

i had a abusive marriage, was wife of elder and 3 kids who lived hell because i was to follow the submission of a wife.

There should be an Elderly abuse hotline. Contact them and the Police. Your sister is embezzling her mom's money. It's a crime unless your mom consented.

The JW couple who were her mom's POA was arrested for embezzlement for emptying their mom's bank account. It was on the paper and on TV news at the time. A non-JW daughter of an elderly reported it to the Police. The scumbag was an elder.

For an Attorney, contact Mr. Zalkin at 856-724-1001 or Davin Storey at 858-259-3011 for an advise and/or a referral. They are JWs abuse case experts in Sandiago, CA. They should be able to direct you to a right attorney in your area. Or you could google for an attorney who handles religious and/or elderly abuse or embezzlement.
