  Is Jehovah taking aim at the apostates?

  when i was a witness, we would sometimes get people who were disfellowshiped or disassociated that protested the assemblies or kingdom hall.

  perhaps there are a few who have done this on this board.

  i remember a few comments made by people in the congregation when they saw these people.

  I think there is something inherently evil in wishing harm on another. I see the practice of hoping someone suffers because you do not agree with them, as a hateful comment.

  I wholeheartedly agree. That is certainly evil. But you have to remember, these brainwashed dubs don't see it that way. The concept that they wish suffering on you because you don't agree with them is foreign. They see it that you are against their GOD Jehovah, and his organization. You are touching God's eye. That makes you evil and bad. They've been mind-controlled into this mode of thinking.

  So sad. So very sad.

  My church's policy on reporting abuse.

  yesterday every body that volunteers in the nursery got a pamphlet on various policies that apply to us.

  this is the complete text of the section on reporting abuse.. .

  if a volunteer suspects a child has been physically, emotionally, or sexually abused or neglected, occ staff must be notified immediately.

  What a concept! Turning molesters in to social services and the authorities. Unheard of!

  Blessings from Jehoovah - BAH!

  i had so many fine blessings as a dub that after pondering on them...i am starting to wonder why i left.. some of my blessings were having the bookstudy in our home, oh what a fine blessing....i didnt have to go out on a cold night and i could save 20 minutes in travelling time....woohoo!!

  making the unleven bread for the memorial, cool, i got to have the left overs *blech*.

  also, working with the cos wife out on field service...yeah that was awesome, i got to pretend i was spiritual and i could talk crap all morning about the co's use of illustrations *choke*.

  I got to stick out like a sore thumb at school assemblies, to wit: "You may stand for the national anthem IF you already WERE standing after the flag salute. However, if you've already been seated and the assembly rises for a national song, you must REMAIN seated." How do you spell h-u-m-i-l-i-a-t-i-n-g???

  How about going out in service on Halloween? May God bless forever the one woman who gave me candy. I'll never forget her.

  Getting bitten by a dog while pounding on doors peddling magazines is another highlight of my childhood. What a privilege! Thank you Jehovah!

  AND being the only person in your office that didn't give blood, thereby ruining everyone else's chances of having 100% participation. OMG THANK YOU LORD!!!

  i'm new here and this is the first post i make (i promise that more will come).

  i have been following most of the posts made here quietly for about 4 months and i would like to thank all of you who are called apostates for the well documented and researched material you have presented here.thanks to you i know now the truth about the wt organization and i'm no longer blind and misled.

  i disassociated myself about 2 months ago after 15 years of very "faithful" service to the society.i was regular pioneer for 12 years and an elder for 8 years, i served mainly as the service overeer.my experience was published in the 2 of the society's magazins.. as i was a very zealous and prominent elder in my circuit i zealously promoted the organizational rules and i allowed myself to be fully used by the society to promote those mind controle techniques that now i know hurt those who were my sheep.

  Welcome to the rest of your (free) life. Sincerest sympathy on the loss of your son. I'm so glad to hear your family got out with you.

  First thing you do when you really get OUT (as opposed to leaving physically but still believing) is say to yourself, "HOW was I ever so deceived? How COULD I have believe all that crap??"

  Well, we did and we could. The WTS is very effective at brainwashing and mind control.

  hi, i am so glad i found this support group for bad name affliction.my name is falafel biscuits, my husband gizzard would not let me keep my mainden name bun, i figured whats the difference between a biscuit and a bun?

  my dog fluffy and cat stinky don't seem to care they were put in the biscuit family.

  liver nose who rents our basement is just like family to us.

  i called info today and asked for the number for the wt in brooklyn...and sure enough..the info operator said they are no longer listed..she thought it was very strange since she gave out this number many times..and cynthia also told me they arent on the internet either....anyway this is me (cosurvivor) jeannie..i am pooped!!!

  what a week...the march was great..the people wonderful...the new friendships amazing...larry thanks so much for the pix and for helping me get the permits...i had a great time at the hotel and didnt want to leave..i loved hooking up with ericka and her mom..laurie..cynthia..pat..sherry..and of course the anderson, pandellos and the bowens...received a call over the weekend while i was away..(left the day after the march) one of the supporters and mother of a survivor..was visited by the elders here in ny..i will have to call her tonight since she is working now..will let you all know what happened...to all the girls and ttboy..and others..i miss you all !!!

  What's with the media and the march

  There was coverage... on the 10:00 news that night on Channel 11 (WPIX, NYC local), it was pretty good. It showed everything, and what went on inside The Sanctuary was that JR Brown spouted off something on the order of "a letter just recently went out to all congregations telling people they have the right to contact the authorities" and that jws were not counseled to not call the authorities "when state law allows for it."

  Isn't it nice to have permission to call the police when children are raped? Gee thanks!!!

  I taped it, does anyone have a way to make a computer video of it that they could post? If so I'll send the tape.
