"Gate A"
by EmptyInside ingate a was the infamous meeting area of all the teens and young adults at said district convention when i was young.
i'm sure there is still such a meeting place at conventions, but i am not wise to it,since i am no longer a part of that "generation",hahaha.. but, yes,it was fun,you could be sure to know where your friends were, and especially where your latest crush was going to be.
but,for some reason it didn't sit well with the brothers in charge.

I absolutey don't think Nicodemus was mocking Jesus. I think he was too thick to understand what Jesus was saying. He barely understood earthly things. Jesus said how could he understand heavenly things then? I think Nicodemus was trying to understand, and that's why he asked the question again. I actually rather like Nicodemus. He's a great story in the Bible.

I am a Bible Believing Christian. I have done hundreds of hours of research on Jehovah Witness beliefs in order to properly witness to them. My research is on going. I was reading John 3 the other day, and the thought came across to me... how do Jehovah Witnesses see Nicodemus? Do they see him as one of the 'anointed', the 'Born Again'? There's a point to this question, but I was wondering if anyone could answer that for me before I get to it?

What Is Your Opinion?
by allyouneedislove inhow would you respond to the following statement:.
no one was negatively affected or died by heeding past understandings on blood fractions, organ transplant, hemodilution, etc.
most of the past understandings on medical procedures existed when the treatments were not being used on a large scale.. .

The peace in the worldwide brotherhood. Proof that it's gods organization?
by BreathoftheIndianNose inand things are within a week or two of being d.a.ed/d.f.ed, and my jw best friend sent me an email to check how i was doing.
i was fairly sure that he was very much on the edge of leaving to, or at least that he didn't believe it for a long time.
so i sent him an email in reply and told him basically everything i believed and the reasons i knew jws are not the true religion, and i also told him i was leaving.

Hi :) I'm new to this forum, but I was interested in this question. Honestly, even athiests can have peace. Shoot, Buddists are nilthists!! (They believe in nothing which is worse than athiesm) and look how peaceful they are amongst themselves. I think it's the friendships that he'll miss... I would too. I think it might be because he simply doesn't know any better, though. How does he know that it's the most peaceful? Most of the time, it's peaceful because people have to be united, but they're dying inside. It's an illusion. It's all he knows to say that. The real question.... how would he feel if he could tell all his brothers how he feels about the doubts he's having about the organization without the fear of them shunning him? All those brothers who he says he shares this bond and peace with will sell him out and turn their backs on him in a red hot second, and shun him forever just because they're told to by a religion. In my honest opinion, he has yet to experience true brotherhood.
