Now Ive seen in the British Museum a moderate sized cross with a circle that I belive is called a Celtic Cross, this artifact predated Christs execution by some considerable number of years, so I do feel both the society, and Hislop have some legitamate reason to associate the cross with Tammuz the Sun god worship, the circle being the sun and the cross being the sacred "T" of Tammuz.
And why therefore would Jehovah have his son associated with such a pagan religious image?
Having said that, is it not conceiveable that as this was Satans finest hour, the brusing of the heel, that the implement of Christs suffering could indeed be a symbal or identifying mark of the false god, Satan, who arranged such? That Satan could use his device to take the life of the son of God and to be perpetually worshipped for it afterwards?
My point being that even if the Romans did use the cross, this doesnt make the cross a "Christian" image as it was indeed Satans tool and one that was previously associated with sun worship.

by MsGrowingGirl20 insoooo, i've been sudying the bible with a 10 year old girl for two years now...her mother recently got baptised.
since i've been having doubts about the org i've centered our discussions on god and the bible and less on pleasing the org...i was doing fine.... until i invited an older pioneer sister to accompany me on the study....heeeeeeesh...she changed the topic from having manners to becoming an unbaptised publisher....she went onnnnn and onnnnn about "don't you want to please jehovah and jesus, wouldn't you like to put in a form every month and you do love jehovah and want to tell others about him,right?
" i was so upset.. i treat and love this girl as if she was my little sister and i do not want her to nose dive into this religion...she's a child for god's sake!.

At that young age, her views of God might be shaped for life, as positive or negative.
It sounds like you are doing the right thing GrowingGirl, just concentrate on teaching her God and Jesus and the Bible as positive things with their Love given to her as grace and with no pressure on her, maybe it will give her a solid foundation that will withstand the bad things that will be taught to her, and it sound like you are the only one who will do this, if you give up, her Mother will just get some other Witness like this Pioneer who will put the poor girl off God for life!

I would go back tommorow if they would have me for I miss many of the Brothers and sisters so much, going through the triaks and tribiulations of the truth bonds people together in the way war does, I find it just isnt as real in the world, life and people are easy and shallow.
However, they would not have me, I cannot lie to others and it would be even harder to lie to myself to admit to believing in thier doctrines of men, though I do think the trurh would actually be easier to endure as you would now be able to ignore all the propogander such as "Jehovah is going to kill you any day now because you dont do enough hours in order to earn your salvation".

Human suffering as a result of sin / Angelic suffering ? being the instigator of human sin ?
by smiddy inaccording to the bible adam & eve were created perfect and because they sinned,disobeyeyed god they, and their offspring have suffered death disease and unimaginable consequences these past 6000 years.they also needed a redeemer,a saviour,to rid themselves of this curse and once again, enjoy perfection,in a paradise earth,according to the wtb&ts.
( we wont even touch upon why the rest of creation needed to go through such suffering not only land animals but the creatures of the sea ) one species preys on another for survival .. so my question is : why wasn`t their some sort of paralell penalty dished out to satan and any of his followers,satan being the instigator,deceiving eve in the first place.. shouldent satan be more culpable than adam or eve ?
what is his pain,suffering,these past 6000 years ,or his followers for that matter.. dont we read in job`s day he still had access to the heavens and appeared b4 jehovah ?.

I know it seems like Jehovah personally goes around murdering babies and puppies as punishment for what we did in Eden, but Iam more inclined to think these "punishments of God" are more likely just the concesquences and results of our leaving Gods care than any deliberate action by God.
The Angels, being self-sufficent, will naturally appear to suffer less than mankind as we are so much more vunerable.
I belive the God proactively punishing part is carried out by Jesus, and occurs at the end of the 1000 years.

There is a lot of recent "sightings" and "whistleblowing" to try and get us to belive we are to be invaded by "Aliens" and only a united World Government will be able to save us, I think Project Bluebeam is along these lines, so I belive the video might be part of this deciept.

I have my own theory that if Babylon the Great took Jersualem in 1948 then if the 70 years of the original Babylon is a pattern, then the rulership of the Beast or New World Order will be 42 months that include when they destroy BTG in 2018, so 2016 comes in that time frame.
Also, when President Medvedev at a G8 summit a couple of years back, gave everyone a sample coin of a possible One World Global currency, the article said they where hoping to impliment such by 2016, (they just have to crash the individual currencies first).

No can I get out of going in service?
by Captain Obvious inas some of you who read my previous thread know, my matrix moment has passed, and i am on my way out.
i am trying very hard to fade slowly in hopes that my wife will wake up, and maybe my family too.
the problem is, my conscience still works well, and i don't want to go out in if service and tell people things that i know aren't true.

I used to feel Holy Spirit back in my better field Ministry days and wonder why if the organisation is wrong.
When I think about my field service however, I realise I was never trying to push the organisation onto people, I was trying to push God so maybe thats why?
The point being, if your concience wont let you lie, just relate the Biblical parts you belive are true.
Assuming that is you arnt throwing the baby, (Jesus) out with the dirty bathwater.

let me spell it out.....a huge airplane full of fuel hit the building plowing thru the steel supports, thousands of witnesses, and video fotage, it almost flew through the building with debris blowing out the other side.

For some reason, I cannot copy and paste on this forum, otherwise I could have you all on page 40 by now with the material Ive gathered over the years, films of Police Witnesses to the Pentegon plane, in thier uniforms, by thier police car telling how they saw the Pentagon plane flying along a completly differant path than the path we were told.
Thing is, Iam bored now anyway, Ive done enough debating and showing people "material" to learn you can never change anybodies mind either way.
