I think you are being a bit too hard on the Org Smiddy, One thing that came true was the start of events leading to a "Kingdom" in 1914, just as the Pyramid Russell measured foretold, (albeit it took a couple of trys).

this is my first year i will not attend memorial.
to be honest if it wasn't for my husband i would probably be going still.
he says what's the point, don't be one of those people who doesn't give a sh** but just shows there face once a year.
So I just attended the memorial in my own house and on my own.
Meant I could obey Jesus instructions in John Chapter 6 rather than saying to Jesus, "thanks, but no thanks, I don't need to eat your sacrifice, just being a Dub will save me".
due to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?

My Swedish Niece was repeatedly raped when she was a JW by her JW father, it has been a high profile case in Sweden that went to the high court and was covered by the media.
The whole family stopped being dubs before this even came out so I dont know if it even appears as a JW abuse case.
over the years, i've come to notice that some of the friends will not touch the plate with the bread or the cup of wine ,when the emblems are being passed around.
i remember a row of 3 people told the brother to skip over them.
every year i have noticed this behavior.
Perhaps they figured that if they touched the plate and glass but didn't actually eat the sacrifice Jesus made for all men, they would be seen by Christ as refusing the gift of life he has offered them, probably the greatest of blasphemies.
By not touching they could convince themselves they didn't join in the same ceremony Satanists do to insult Jesus, and then when they get home they then hold their own Memorial away from the Elders gauze whereupon they would partake.

My Swedish Niece was raped by her father when the family were active JW.s, don't know if that was viewed as a JW affair or a family affair, I live in England and don,t like to push for too many details of such a painful subject, but apparently was well reported in the Swedish National media.
She won and he was found guilty but he appealed and it went to High Court where a clever lawyer outwitted her, so he then got off.

given that i know how corrupt, dishonest and evil the watchtower is, i have wondered how to understand a personal experience i had many years ago - long before walking out mid-2009.. after an unusual series of many "co-incidences" on a particular sunday, my friend and i ended up at the door of someone who had been praying to god for someone to be sent to him, and who was expecting us.. i am still convinced it was by divine intervention, but cannot understand why a prayer is answered by sending representatives of an apostate organisation.. also when taking up residence in a foreign country, under very difficult circumstances, i twice ended up "inadvertently" moving in to homes just around the corner from the kh.
on one occasion it was about a 15 metre walk from my front door right into my seat in the kh!.
have you had similar experiences?.
I found God via the JWs house to house work, I also belive the JWs to be pretty much as apostate as all the other religions of Man.
Doesnt mean Jesus cannot find his sheep anywhere they happen to be.
Jesus said the very stones would cry out, and they are not a religion, maybe the illustration of the Kingdom of God being like a dragnet that brings in fish both suitable and unsuitable is applicable here?
I expect Jesus finds his sheep in the Catholic church as well.
The question will be, when Jesus does return, his Sheep will know his voice and fellow the good Shepard wherever he goes, that means they will leave thier Apostate religions, those that worship their religions will remain and not follow the good Shepard, they will not recognise his voice because they prefer the voice of the JW GB
I expect if Satan himself was to appear at peoples doors, horns and all, the experience would make a lot of people jump into Jesus arms.
