  demunz and the like were the reason given by the wts and thus my folks followed suit with the the rule of the house.

  Having abusive and neglectfull parents, my role models where those nice American folk on the TV, thankfully back in the 60s, the good guys where good guys, unlike today where I probably would have turned out to be a violent monster.

  I wish I had parents like Samatha and Darren, my own parents wouldnt hardly even talk to me, just kick me in the stomach and make me stay alone in my bedroom till school the next day, at least I was allowed to watch Bewiched, Batman, Lost in Space, or Daktari before the enforced isolation started when my stepfather arrived home.

  now she thinks it's time, but she doesn't believe in premarital marriage.

  I see that despite being 70, her "standards are still very high" and shes, "hoping to bag a millionaire".

  Seems then that money is her greatest desire, we have a name for woman like that, maybe thats why shes still a virgin, I predict a lonely and chaste life ahead of her.

  hi my name is marie.

  i was brought up in the truth from birth being born xy.

  i went through torture as a child being born this way and apearing female in every way, even wearing boy clothes.. at the age of 15 years old decided that going through the amendment of my gender identity was a must and sought medical adv at the earliest oppertunity... this lead to me being thrown out of my home at the tender age of 15.... as time past they accepted me as their daughter a few months later.. thanks to jehovah as i was getting involved in a lot of bad things to keep a roof over my head.. at the age of 20 they paid for my surgery for which i've never looked back from and feel so much more comfortable with my body and myself.. i'm quite sure if i'd remained as my birth sex that i would not be here now writing this.. i started going back to the meetings shortly after having surgery and was met with some love and predjudice to the extent of which toilet i should be using and what clothes i should be wearing.... i've started to study again but am afraid of being stumbled again in regards to going to the meetings... after a lot of prayer and considering scriptures like -.

  Hi Marie, found this old thread so hope you are still following it.

  I remember at Crystal Palace being introduced to a "Brother" who the introducee informed me had been born male, but the Mother so wanted a girl that she dressed and brought up this person to think he was a girl to the extent that he had a sex change.

  As a grown, "Woman", this person was called on and studied to become a JW, but was told that as "She" was actually a "he" in Gods eyes, she would have to revert back. So this Woman had to dress as a man, learn to walk and talk like a man, etc to be a JW.

  A year or so later, at Crystal Palace, I was in the company of some younger born-ins, who, on one of them spottting this now "Brother", proceeded to bring to the attention of the rest the shocking (to a sheltered born-in), the full details of this person, I kindly informed the Brother of the damage this could do by revealing to all something "he" was trying so hard to hide, and how such knowledge could sulley others view of "him".

  Sadly enough, I heard some years later that "he" had indeed experienced so much predudice that he had left and reverted back to being a woman.

  Now, the things you are reading from the Old Testament do influence Christians view that you have to be some sort of perfect Human Being for God to accept you, this is especially true in the JWs.

  They forget that the whole purpose of the Mosaic Law being a "Tutor to the Christ", was to show it is not posssible for broken and sinfull flesh to ever be good enough for salvation on its own merits, the lesson to learn therefore is that salvation is 100% dependant on Jesus.

  Jesus himself said, a doctor doesnt go to the well, but he goes to the sick, that he is the doctor who didnt come to save righteous people who have no need of repentance, but to call sinners.

  No broken reed will he crush is a lovely prophesy about him.

  According to the Mosiac law, I myself as a Bastard, am disqualified from the Kingdom of God, but we are not under the Mosiac Law now, Jesus will take anybody who wants him too, knowing that the more seemingly unworthy someone considers themselves, the more Love and appretiation they are going to give back to God and Jesus when they realise they are Loved by them.

  If you continue your studies, and being Spiritual can be quite difficult without association, never let their air of discouragement or claim that you have to be perfect in the flesh, discourage you from God, for God does not look at your flesh or its ways, all he considers is your good heart and spirit, the Love you have for him.

  I actually work with two transgendered people where I work.

  When will they realise that the bus isn't coming?

  i was still a kid and living at home at the time, and so that must have been well over 30 years ago, that i heard ron drage (now a senior member of the uk bethel) say "if you are waiting at the bus stop it, is better to be 10 minutes early rather than miss it".

  what he was referring to of course was the then then 1975 issue; in other words armageddon has arrived yet but it just round the corner and we are a little early for it.. i don't know what brought this to my mind the other day but i got to thinking, surely if you are waiting for a bus and you get there 10 minutes early and it doesn't then turn up, how long do you wait?

  10 minutes, 15 minutes, half an hour, an hour, two hours?

  I spoke with a Lovely Lady C of E Vicar a few weeks back, and asked if she thought we where near Jesus second coming.

  She replied that people have allways been waiting for Jesus second coming, I gathered she was not at all interested in such a thing ever occuring.

  Most religions probably had this initial imputous, and hoped they would be "the ones".

  If the JWs survive, they will possibly turn into just another social church like the rest of them.

  Jesus did give an illustration about Virgins who got fed up waiting for the Bridegroom and fell asleep and missed out. He gave that for a reason.

  A shame in view of the hard work most Witnesses have done, the lives wasted, (though God will allways remember the Love they showed for his name),

  and all because a group of over zealous men decided to print thier own bus timetable because they couldnt read the one at the bus stop.

  Ten years later, where are they now? Youngsters moving to London where the ministry is more exciting

  about 10-12 years ago, some of the young pioneers in my hall moved to london because they thought the ministry would be more exciting than the poorly supported field service groups in my sleep town in sussex.. i was thinking the other day what became of them.

  i know that one is now an elder and married, the other one i'm not so sure about.. one of my relatives once said that the truth is more exciting in london, people are warmer, there's more opportunities for young witnesses.. if you lived in the uk, perhaps in the south of england, was it a fad for some of the youth to move to london where they thought the ministry was more exciting?

  have they left or are they still in?.

  then something much more exciting than an Assembly in 1922 would have occurred to confirm the validity of thier claim to fullfill the prophesy, Dan 12 v 12

  You cannot fullfill half a prophesy.

  this is no laughing matter.

  a major cme or flare could wipe out civilization by destroying power grids everywhere.. this is why i get so angry about global warming hysteria - there are far more serious threats that could emerge in months, not decades ahead.. i also understand that a small asteroid is scheduled to come breathtakingly close to hitting earth in two years.

  People are turning away from Babylon the Great?

  i was having a casual conversation with a jw family member yesterday and he mentioned some documentary he had recently watched about the catholic church and its cover up of the child sexual abuse scandal in ireland.

  he commented that the church is losing the political influence and control it once had in ireland and that the bible (revelation) prophesised that before the end, people would turn away from babylon the great (false religion).. .

  i disagreed and said that i saw no evidence that people are turning away from religion on a global level.

  You are obviously holding fast to Watchtower doctrines then if you belive Babylon the Great is Christendom and False Religion.

  Is it the bit where the Merchants of the Earth weep and mourn becasue nobody buys Christmas cards afetr the fall that convinced you?

  Now unless Jesus has a common insult that he uses on anybody he doesnt like, you can identify BTG from Jesus words to the Jewish leaders of Jerusalem in Matthew 23 where he accuses them of baring the blood of all those slain on the Earth, with Revelation 18, the last verse where it says BTG has the blood of all those slain on the Earth and the Prophets.

  "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who killed the Prophets", not, Rome Rome the one who killed the prophets.

  I work in government, I can assure you religion does not any longer "rule over the kings of the Earth" and it probably hasnt done since the Middle Ages.

  You know who rules Government?, Jewish banking, Barroness Tonge in the HOuse of LOrds for instance said, Both the Labour Party and the Conservatives are ruled by Israel"

  Why do you think all our wars at the moment benifit Israel whilst they put us further into debt?

  Jewish Banking, Rothschild said, give me control over the issue of a nations money, it matters not who makes the rules.

  The whole worlds in massive debt, who do you think the worlds in debt to?, Martians? No, the international Zionist bankers, and they have the money to buy and to crash governments.

  Revelation 18, which talks about economic collapse, makes far more sense now if it involves the demise of world banking.

  I could go on about every other identification of BTG, being a Whore for instance, did you read all the scriptures in the OT where Israel and Judah are described as a Whore?
