Actually, they are, or at least were, correct about the dangers of heading a soccer ball, except both they and the recent research are 40 years out of date, I remember this being addressed at least 40 years ago, back then however, footballs were footballs, not the ballons they have now where the slightest kick sends the ball across the pitch, back then balls where made of thick leather and had a rubber bladder inside, when that ball got wet, it weighed a ton and would indeed put a great strain on the brain with constant heading.

Nowadays I wouldnt think there was hardly such a danger.

Back then if you could kick that ball across the penalty box your name was Peter Lorimer.

Yes, I think our society is on the verge of collapsing, and I also think its deliberate.

If those who run America have Americas interests at heart, why are they closing down industries and setting up shop in China?

Even if it was a case of it just being that China is more competitive, why not do what Italy did to protect its automotive industries and tax foriegn imports to put domestic industry on the same level.

Yet they are doing the opposite, just look at how they are sabotaging Gibson Guitars.

Like wise with those who own the federal reserve, I learnt a year in advance that the bankers where going to crash the economies in order to bring in a new global monetray system, (so I put all my savings in Silver and Gold and have tripled my wealth), and you know how they triggered this economic crash?, the witholdall of Credit, the deliberate withholdall of Credit, and of course a fiat monetary system that depends on an ever increasing supply of debt money, would have no choice but to crash once the supply dries up.

Even if the Protocols of Zion are a forgery, whoever wrote them was well aware of the above, for it states "we will crash the Goyims economy by the withholdall of credit.

And the reason and result of this grand plan?

If a country is run successfully and the patriotic people are happy, do you think they would be willing to hand over their soverignty to a One World Government?, no, but if their way of life had collapsed and they had no choice.

The congregations I went too, it was frowned upon for JWs to even date other JWs never mind non-JWs! unless of course you were of the same caste. ie, Pioneers could date other Pioneers, the untouchables could date other untouchables.

In was just starting to court a lovely Sister when newly in, but was warned off because she had done something wrong in the past, (theres forgiveness for you), being new and gulible I belived the nasty accusations that Jehovah wouldnt bless me if I married such a sister. Who is actually a really lovely person who maybe made one mistake in her young life.

Still, I tasted the other end of the JW stick later when a Pioneer Sister I was courting was told she would be more loved by Jehovah if she married another Pioneer.

When I think of all those stunning girls in the office who would ask me out! and I refused them to be faithfull to God, and now Iam alone for ever in my dotage, it makes me sicker than I feel I can bare, best I dont dwell on it.

As you might remember, I work in British Parliament, so one day these folk turn up http://www.demos.co.uk/about They are carrying their props which include a cardboard pedestal surround with a big eye, (see the way they portray their brand name), they where young folk so purely as a joke I said, "your not one of these Illuminati companys are you, what with your eye symbol", they sort of smiled a bit and said no. So when I got home I looked them up, turns out they are one of Britians big think tanks, you will sometimes see pictures of our Prime Minister talking on a Demos pedestal, they are heavily into globalism, aka New World Order. Last time they where in the news they where doing some programme in schools were they where teaching kids not to belive in all this conspiracy nonsense which I found a bit ironic.

Can't get work after pioneering

i was just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and can advise me?.

like many here, i was bought up as a jw, with full-time service (bethel, pioneer) the only career option held out in front of me.

i wanted to take a government loan and go to university, but was forced not to, labelled 'materialistic'.. i became a pioneer / window cleaner - round here, almost all pioneer brothers window clean, unless they are retired or have a rich daddy.

Would you go running back?

if the tribulations started tomorrow, and all you knew of the bible was what the jws had told you, would you suddenly think, "they said this would happen, and it is, therefore they must be right", and go running back?.

or would you think, "just because eventually biblical prophiesies came to pass that "they" had read you from the bible, doesnt mean they are the chosen religion, because they get all these other doctrines wrong", and know these doctrines well enough to be able to convince yourselves.. .

replies such as "it wont happen cause its a fairy story" wont really help..

No, I dont have lingering thoughts that "they may be right", or even that those of you that have left do, rather, as somebody who does belive in God and the Bible, I wonder if, in the face of a personal experience of great tribulation, say world war 3 for example, if a lifetime of indoctrination from the JWs would resurface in the abscence of any other intellectual refuge for those of us who for whatever reason, have not prepared for such an eventuality.

Meaning, whilst at the moment you feel safe to have abandoned anything Spiritual, would fearing for your lives cause you to flee back to the only place you ever knew that seemed to offer salvation, that if they got 10% right, then they must be 100% right?

And no, Iam not recommending such, I consider the 90% they get wrong invalidates the accidental 10% my senario has them get right.

i thought these were pretty surprising comments in the consolation magazine in 1946, just a few months after the full horrors of the holocaust emerged, under the heading "are the jews meek?":.

Do please remind me of the scriptures, they sound familier but most such scriptures talk about the Nation of Israel rather than the Nation of Jews, people do get confused when they see a bunch of white folk from South Russia who call themselves Jews inhabiting Palestine and they assume its scripture coming to pass, where in fact God will regather Israel, not just Judah, that is 12 tribes not just 1.

Just because we no longer know who is decended from the Lost tribes of Israel, doesnt mean God doesnt know.

Have you ever wondered if the bible has been totally "rewritten" and the real message Jesus taught was love.

sometimes when i play the devil adovacate and play the pros and cons of the bible as it is i often wonder what if the bible really does support homosexuality, premarital sex, masturbation, and other things believers "cringe" at the thought of.

maybe jesus really only taught us to love people and not spend so much time debating religion.

i know some "evagelical christians" that have so much "hate" in their hearts against others that don't believe as they do it makes you wonder where is the christian love?

I like to think all the laws and condemnations of the Bible are there to make us realise what undeserving sinners we are, so that when we find we are saved by Gods grace, we Love him for his mercy.

Surely the only thing God cannot create or force is our Love for him, it can only be earned by his actions towards us.

Without the knowledge of how unworthy we are and deserving of death, we would be just like the JWs who are so perfect and do so much field service that God owes them everlasting life, they are going to miss out on gratitude if they feel they have nothing to be gratefull for.

Jesus said the miserable sinner was more righteous than those who felt they where allready righteous enough.
