i haven't been here in a long time so i'd like to say hi again.. i do want to share something with you if i may.
over a period of time my grandson who is 15 has been allowed to come over and stay with us as my yougest son is his uncle who is 16 they got on so well together talking football and rapping music.he would phone my son on a regular basis, and then his mother said he could stay over sometimes.the more he stayed with us the more he opened up about what was happening to him at home,he told me he didn't want to be a jw and was always rebellious towards it this i always knew.he is only allowed out with jw friends he he is monitered whilst on his computer and when he phoned my son his mum or dad(my eldest son)were always present.so he wasn't allowed a private phone call,my grandson told me that his mum and his dad were hitting him really hard and on several occasions he wanted to leave home.. i listened intently and felt sad and disappointed that he was being treated in this way as his dad was never treated that way as a child.my eldest son married a jw girl and after a few years i saw the change in him.
my daughter-in-law however is a control freak and she was hitting my grandson when he was a toddler as i threatened her once i would report her, not long after they moved to another area.. time went by and normality resumed.anyway,my grandson was telling me that his mother is bombarding him about armageddon and that if he dosen't conform he will die with no hope,he said nan i don't really believe that.

i haven't been here in awhile and i'd like to say hi once again.. i have written what i am about to tell once posted it and it disappeared, must have hit the wrong button.so here i go again.
over a period of time my grandson who is 15 has been making regular contact to my youngest son (who is his uncle)they talk about what teens talk about, football and music, cal my grandson has also been allowed to stay over once in a while, which i might add surprised me a little, you know staying with his worldly gran, his mum is a jw and my eldest son cals dad is almost one you could say.. anyway since cal has been staying over at our house he has opened up about a lot of things none that were instigated by me i must add.he said he dosen't want to be a jw he hates it and his mum and dad have been hitting him quite hard.i believe him because his mum has always been heavy handed since he was a young baby,i did threaten her once after i heard she had knocked cal to the floor hitting him when he was about 3yrs because he said ' oh god ' has kids do sometimes,my young daughter was there at the time and she told me.
not long after that they left the village, after sometime normality resumed with our family and we got back on speaking terms.. cal has always been rebellious and i know his mum has always hit him and now he is 15 he is questioning more and fighting back so i quess he is in more trouble.then about a month ago my young son had a distressing phone call from cal he was sobbing and asking if he could come and stay he had some clothes packed so i spoke with cal and asked if he had been hit again and he said yes very hardbecause he forgot to say a prayer before the meal and his mum lashed out at him.
thankyou for your advice i appreciate it.
Mary i have come very close to doing this, if i call my son or his wife i'm not sure what kind of attitude i will get,if they refuse to speak to me or not allow Cal to speak to me i may go down this road.
I forgot to mention that i actually phoned the london jw office and told them about this, they said well we don't know the situation you should discuss it with your family,i said i have just told you my Grandson has been hit because he didn't say a prayer and he has been hit over a long period of time, they wouldn't discuss it.I did say to my son he is a teenager and we have to learn to understand them and listen to them. When Cal stayed over and he talked about his life as a jw i made him promise he would not tell his parents we had this conversation because of the consequences, he understood. I also said to Cal there was lots of things i couldn't discuss with him about the jws,you know, what i know about the religion because he needed to find out for himself i never said anything i shouldn't have, whilst i understood his frustration i asked that he try understand why his mum is like she is,and i know that is hard when you feel restricted and afraid.
Dacheech the comment you made also crossed my mind, the age these days is 16 as i am to often reminded by my youngest son when he gets cocky,Cal has said many times when i'm 16 i'm out of there.
Thanks again qca1

hello to everyone
i haven't been here in awhile and i'd like to say hi once again.
I have written what i am about to tell once posted it and it disappeared, must have hit the wrong button. So here i go again.

I said he could stay and i would pick him up.His mum was out of the house at the time and she came back and caught him speaking to us the line went dead and i was so upset.Cals dad had also been hitting him which i found shameful as he has not been brought up this way.
At that moment i rang child-line for advice and as i was being given it Cals dad turned up,Cals mum must have phoned him as he was in the area,i realised i had to confront him with this,i asked why he and his wife were beating up on their child and he said it's nothing to do with you we will hit him if we want, again i asked why in a very calm manner, he said he'd been hit today because he wouldn't eat his dinner,i kept my cool and said could i help with Cal perhaps he needs a break away for awhile, but he wouldn't have it and said to me mother you are boring me and drove off.
A few days later i phoned to speak with Cal the excuse was he isn't in,my young son has had no phone calls from him as Cal used to phone regular. When Cal came to stay he said his mum keeps on about armaggedon and that if Cal dosen't conform he will die,Cal said to me Nan i don't believe this, so now i have no contact what so ever with Cal or his brothers and i don't know what to do next,is there any advice out there as how to proceed with this i adore my grandkids they are my life, please help.

I listened intently and felt sad and disappointed that he was being treated in this way as his dad was never treated that way as a child. My eldest son married a jw girl and after a few years i saw the change in him. My daughter-in-law however is a control freak and she was hitting my grandson when he was a toddler as i threatened her once i would report her, not long after they moved to another area.
Time went by and normality resumed.Anyway,My grandson was telling me that his mother is bombarding him about armageddon and that if he dosen't conform he will die with no hope,he said Nan i don't really believe that. So the other week my son had a phone call from my grandson and he was in a right state he was crying and his voice was shaking he'd got on the phone quickly whilst his mum had gone to the toilet,he said can my Nan come and get me i'm leaving home,so i spoke to him,he said his mum had hit him hard because he forgot to say grace before their meal,i said get to the bus station and i'll pick you up and don't worry and has i was talking to him his mum came in the room and i could hear her voice the phone went dead. I phoned for some advice and within about half hour his dad was at my house,i think she must have rung him because he was in the area. I realised i had to speak to him about this. I told him i was quite concerned about what had just happened and could i help in any way,he more or less told me to mind my own buisness and that he will hit his son when he thinks fit, i asked why his mum had hit him ,he said because he wouldn't eat his dinner,i said you hit a 15yr old because of that, anyway he drove off his last words to me were mother your boring me i was gobsmacked.
I phoned a few days later to speak with my Grandson to be told he's not in.What worries me is i may not see him or my other 2 grandsons again,i don't know what to do or go about getting back on freindly terms with them,i am worried about my grandson he is so mixed up,he as no confidence and no real friends, there have been no phone calls from him to my son either,he probably isn't allowed any more.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to do next i would appreciate it so much.
Thanks for listening

yes, i am going through a crisis...well, for a long while now, i have been reading forecasts for my sun sign (virgo) and my rising sign (pisces, 26 degrees).
i thought they were quite relevant to what i was going through, especially the pisces one...only to find out yesterday that during all that time, i should have read the aries forecast as my ascendant is at 26 degrees.
needless to say, i do feel very silly about the whole thing.
Hi Stephanus
First, may i ask if you have had a birth chart drawn up by an Astrologer ?If not seek one out who is recommended.
Astrology is a tool for self knowledge and growth and believe me it is worth sticking with, read as much as you can on the subject there are plenty of books out there, you will get a little something from your sun sign but it does not tell the whole story, indepth astrology is the place to be.
I have just had a new grandchild born whose parents are witnesses, and i have had his birth chart done, has i have all my childrens charts and grandchildrens,it has helped me understand them more and the path that they will take and why. Never could i interfer with that and i wouldn't want. Understood and put into practise for the self and the spirit is both interesting and exciting.
I quess what i am saying to you is keep on with Astrology,i could go on and on here because i have lots to say about what it has done for me and my family and i may bore you all.
As for Planets in transit Pluto is in Sagittarius about 18 degrees and has another 10 or so years left in that sign, Sagittarius is the natural sign of the 9th house which comes under Religion, higher knowledge and travel be it with the mind or the earth. Pluto in Myth ruled the underworld also the subconscious mind, when Pluto first moved into this 9th house sign Religion came under fire and child abuse within those ranks was uncovered,Pluto uncovers deceit and lies in which ever house in the zodiac it touches, and if organized religion does not come clean in whatever situation it will crumble.
Take a look at amazon for reading material on Astrology. You can email me if you wish.

Hi to everyone
On Saturday i bought a book called ' The Book Your Church Dosen't Want You To Read'.
On page 217 i came across these words and i quote, One day while i was reading my bible,I made a startling discovery. After reading 2 kings 19, I flipped a number of pages and read some more. To my astonishment, I found myself reading the same words. Now, class, open your bibles to 2 Kings 19 --- and also to Isaiah 37.
These books are word for word identical ! No bible Scholar has been able to give me a satisfactory explanation for this.
This book i am reading is an eye opener if ever there was one. It also has some quotes in it from the Watchtower about the time of the end.
Reccomended reading in fact a must read.

hi to everyone.. just finished a book by neale waslch called ' the new revelations'.
i would like to if i may list here what has been written regarding the 5 steps to peace.
do you agree or disagree.. we acknowledge that certain old beliefs about life and about god are no longer working.. we acknowledge that there is something we do not understand about god and about life, the understanding of which could change everthing.. we are willing for new understandings of god and life to now be brought forth, understandings that could produce a new way of life on this planet.. we are willing to explore and examine these new understandings ,and,if they align with our inner truth and knowing,to enlarge our belief system to include them.. we are willing to live our lives as a demonstration of our beliefs.. do most or all of you here think that what we have been taught about god, christianity, jesus and so on through the bible is absolute truth and truth isn't to be found outside of this book.. i would appreciate your thoughts and has anyone read anything by neale walsch.. qca1.
Hi to everyone.
Just finished a book by Neale Waslch called ' The New Revelations'. I would like to if i may list here what has been written regarding the 5 steps to peace. Do you agree or disagree.
We acknowledge that certain old beliefs about life and about God are no longer working.
We acknowledge that there is something we do not understand about God and about life, the understanding of which could change everthing.
We are willing for new understandings of God and life to now be brought forth, understandings that could produce a new way of life on this planet.
We are willing to explore and examine these new understandings ,and,if they align with our inner truth and knowing,to enlarge our belief system to include them.
We are willing to live our lives as a demonstration of our beliefs.
Do most or all of you here think that what we have been taught about God,Christianity,Jesus and so on through the Bible is absolute truth and truth isn't to be found outside of this book.
I would appreciate your thoughts and has anyone read anything by Neale Walsch.
