  Health - has anyone else suffered long lasting health effects from years with the Borg?

  does anyone else feel or know that jehovah's witnesses damaged their health?.

  i know many have emerged with depression, and i'm very relieved that i am not one of them.. but, being the age i am, (a large tribe of grandchildren) i was nonetheless pressured to go out door to door in steep countryside often in bad weather, and because i was doing my best to keep up that ended in an injury which has proved to be long lasting.. and that's not counting the stress-induced consequences...i won't cite them all here, but physical.

  a few days in hospital and a summer spent on compulsory almost complete rest can all be laid at the watchtower's door.the trauma of actually extricating oneself from the borg is not stopped when one has finally written that letter that disassociates oneself from them.

  you say to yourself, " what a great idea!!".

  then you think to yourself that maybe it isn't so great?

  If you get dfed it might be hard to stomach coming crawling back to the JC and give the loyalty oath.

  i have posted on here a little, and i thought i should probably introduce myself the best i can right now.

  i stumbled upon this site and told my sister about it.

  then, sometime later she started discussing things with me that's she has seen or read (she's in therapy, as well, which probably has made her kind of rethink things).

  Bible Teach Artwork Change for 2012

  did anyone else notice the artwork change on page 12 and on page 83?

  im new to this and cannot get the pictures to upload....but if you have a copy of the book and compare it with the pdf online, there is definitely a change.. what qould cause them to to this?.

  i would be interesting to see if there were any changes to the wording of the paragraphs.

  Disfellowshipped for reading "apostate literature"?

  is reading apostate literature a disfellowshipping offense?.

  do you know of people being disfellowshipped for this or for receiving apostate literature?.

  You can in reality be disfellowshipped for anything 3 elders agree on in a JC. But you can appeal .

  long time study

  so i am 20 now and i had my first study when i was 14. no jehovahs witness relatives and i am currently in my second book with one more chapter to go.

  the reason it took so long is because it started out very sporadic andd short.

  anyways, a friend and i were talking and i said i dont think i want to get baptise anytime soon and she said they may want to 'see a return on their investment' -_- so my question is if any witnesses ever got pushy with you about taking the next step after you have studied with them a long time.
