  this is my first time posting here, although i have been a visitor to it for around a year.

  after doing a simple google search under "jehovah'switnesses" over a year ago, i found ttat.

  i was deeply unhappy with the congregation and decided to educate myself, and boy what an education i have gotten so far.

  Any recent wack-a-doodle elder comments in your congo lately?

  our go-to wack-a-doodle elder moved to a new congregation a few years back.

  the position has been vacant since then.. we had an elder move in a few months back.

  he appears to be angling for the position of resident wack-a-doodle.. at last night's service meeting, he said (paraphrased): "as a congregation, we've been busier than ever before with our special campaign.

  Are we starting to treat DF people differently?

  some may remember the time when the private study edition of the wt wasn't to be made available to outsiders, and the df'd.. now, with the recent boe letter, sept 1, 2014, it specifically states that jw.org is making the km available even for df'd individuals.. do you sense a new trend developing?.

  Like a 7day disfellowship period.

  That would be a loving arrangement, as Jehovah desires all to be saved.

  so is it a must and an absolute requirement to be a ministerial servant in the org?.

  i was told that if i refuse an appointment as an ms then it means i'm opposing "jehovah's call to service".

  this is a video from 1990 that waas posted about four years ago on randy watter's youtube channel.

  it's long but reveals the emotions one experiences as they wake up and realize how much they've been misled and lied to by the organization who claimed to represent god.. thankfully jennifer's dad never gave up trying to give her a rewarding and fulfilling life.

  Would you go to church?

  i have an unspoken rule that if someone ever invites me to a church - that i haven't been to before - i will go.

  even though i'm an atheist i'm still interested in the experiance.

  just like i'm not into basketball but i would like to go to a game sometime to feel the energy of the crowd.. growing up as a jw i've never set foot in another church.

  If a friend invited me then I would attend. Most of the denominations are so much more lively than the kingdom hall. I have noticed that zero to none have prepared sermons given to them by the leadership.

  august 31, 2014, the end of the greatest month of preaching in human history!!

  with much hard work and planning, and with jeehoober's blessing, i was able to reach my goal!!

  i skipped the entire "uber-special campaign" of advertising jw.org for the governing popes!!

  i'm new to this website and i thought i'd create a profile.

  i was disfellowshipped in july of 2013 in another city.

  i since moved and starting going to meeting about 6 months ago in my new city.

  Good for you and welcome to the board. Dont forget to keep making friends out of the congregation. As for your letter, just say how cold the world is and that you don't want to die without being in Jehovah's ark. Also David did many bad things but Jehovah forgave him after repentance. Say you realise that it only takes a second to damage your relationship with Jehovah. You are now ready to be a solid rock like peter.

  Have fun while writing it :-) Also, do a lot of independent study.
