do the jehovah's witnesses belong to a doomsday cult?

i wrote this article which asks the question.

i think what makes the society specifically a doomsday cult is their adherence to the idea that judgement day is right around the corner. they push every doctrine and policy with the idea that the end is so near you cant waste time thinking about it because jehovah will judge you before you make a decision. every aspect is death. they attend the memorial for the death of christ but refuse to celebrate his birthday or resurrection. they wont celebrate birthdays but will have funerals. and they use the death and the funeral to push their doomsday message to capitalize on the grieving.

they celebrate the death of babies. they practically orgasm over the idea of 7 billion people being murdered by their version of god. they labeled jesus as the angel of death. they get off on the death of everything.

catholics push the message that the end is coming but we dont know when. like scripture says. apostolics and pentacostals push that the end is coming but we dont know when. like scripture says. baptists for the most part do the same thing.

there are thousands of doomsday cults and the watchtower is one of the largest. but

i have collected and assembled hundreds of letters, documents, publications, personal communications, e-mails from the branch etc.

etc.. my original intent was to make some type of searchable database but my time has been taken over by more important things in life for me.

i don't care about the jw's all that much anymore and who or what gets what information i don't really care.

just this mornin' i read that the wt prophecy went from.

" millions now living will never die ".

" millions will never die in jehovah's memory ".

Including the non Witnesses, there still aren't enough to be "millions."

I've heard denial "WE NEVER SAID THAT."

I've heard blame "THAT WAS JUST A FEW WHO THOUGHT THAT, BUT NOT THE GB."

I've heard contradiction "WE AREN'T PERFECT" turn to blame "SO MAYBE YOU'RE THE ONE WHO IS AT FAULT FOR DEMANDING PERFECT PEOPLE."

Whatever the reason, the fact that there isn't only one shared uniformly shows they don't even have a reason they can agree on.

Do you miss the sense of security the organisation gives you?

i am sure most of you miss the sense of security regarding the future that the organisation offers- the certainty of everlasting life in the paradise earth, being healed and the confidence that you will definitely see your loved ones again if you remained faithful.

but why did you pursue a course of life that had suddenly turned everything into a fable?.

So MRFACTS, since my correspondence with you began AFTER you sent me an email that read "f**k you," you reveal yourself to be as much a liar as a hypocrite.

I don't threaten people often (can count it on one hand) and NEVER people I don't know.

You are a sham, MRFACTS, and it's disgusting. You look down your nose at people for committing the unscriptural sin of denying the Governing Body, and judge them while you repeatedly commit scriptural sin after sin.

So the list of your personality traits stands at shadey, underhanded, vulgar, brazen, judgemental, rude, lying, and hypocritical. Surely, I'm missing a few shiners. Your wares have been revealed as little more than an arrant concoction of piss and ink.

And to get the message clear, I've never been a slave to a fake god produced by a cult/real estate/publishing house. I am one of the lucky few to be able to say I've never been a Witness. I've never been a study. And yet, without my anal offering to the governing body, I don't know if I can find any on this site who can honestly find me guilty of any of your wonderful personality traits.

So, hopefully my complaint to the higher ups gets investigated soon so we wont have to deal with a guy who sells piss as a cureall, yet refuses to sip from the bottle himself.

Like the Society as a den of protected pedophiles, you've been outted for the corrupt malignant hypocrite you are.

No one here has noticed yet, but she kept trying to assert that she was an independent thinker, but when she supposedly went to the sites you mentioned, she labeled you an apostate and said your stand on blood was no longer well founded.

The significance being that once you were labeled an apostate, your stand immediately lost any levity. Strange that an independent thinker, suddenly refuses to acknowledge you because you are what the governing body tells her is wrong. That you have merit until you visit certain websites that she, for some reason, can't find anything agreeable,

If she continues the debate, you should point out how independent and uncontrollable she really is. You don't want others reading and thinking her argument is a legitimate argument formed by free thought when it isn't.

You preach so hard about the greatness of the Pedophile Paradise known as the Watchtower Society, yet even you don't buy what they are selling. You're just a lowly, underhanded scumbag troll with a bad attitude and a sailor's vocabulary.

Seems like a one-sided friendship. Pretty much be a lackey to Jehovah (in this perception, Jehovah is a man in his 30's playing a rich teenage jerk who walks over everyone to get what he wants.) or he'll hurt and/or kill you.
