by Terry inas a kid i only collected comic books until around 1962.. my collection was very important to me and i had emotional excitement at the release of a new comic--but--i made a date with 2 girls.
on the same day and didn't have any money!

Why, oh why did you have to open up these old wounds? I thought the bitter memories had past, but no, you have to go and bring up old comic book collections.
I was about 10 years old when the first Spiderman comic came out. I knew, I KNEW that it would be valuable some day. I paid for it with my own money, put it in a plastic bag and into a drawer, after only looking at it one time. Do you have any idea how hard it is for a little kid to only look at a Spiderman comic just one time?
The next Spiderman comic #2 came out and, again, I carefully protected it and put it away. My treasure trove was increasing. Month after month I tenderly stashed these away. #1, #2, #3 etc, etc, etc, until I had the first 10 Spiderman comics, stored and waiting for them to increase in value. I knew nothing about investing, BUT, I knew comics. This was going to be worth some real money one day.
When I was 14 I discovered that my Mom had thrown out all the them. Spring cleaning and the drawers got emptied.
Hunh??????????
It breaks my heart when I see what they go for now.
Moms. You gotta love'em.

I remember telling a friend of mine, at least I think I remember telling him... no I'm pretty sure I did tell him...once, maybe even two or three times I told him, where I wasn't treated too well in this particular Branch territory, and I said to my friend, well I think he was my friend, well he was friendly to me... OK it was the guy down the street who cuts my hair, and I said to him ... blah blah blah....

The 2 witness rule
by tim hooper ini've just been informed by a jw apologist that regarding the 2 witness rule in cases of child abuse, the child himself counts as 1 of the witnesses.
he also stated that if 2 children complain about abuse seperately, the 2 children then count as 2 witnesses.. any thoughts please?.
