these past few weeks i've spent a lot of time trying to decide how i want to proceed with the rest of my life.
one of my first decisions to carry out is to break free from the wts.
even though i've been a life long witness i feel no guilt or hesistation in leaving the only religion i've ever known.

A Friend sent me this...........
For some reason I am having difficulty posting to the web site. But I
have something to say about brother David Algar. I saw him just three
weeks age at our Circuit Assembly (in Scotland where he is now the DO)
and he looked fine to me. He was in his usual form telling us all that
we have "not to be Micky Mice." (you had to be there) He is a very funny
man, it made the Assembly worthwhile. I think that you should bear in
mind that this "information" about David Algar came from the same
message board where someone claiming to be Randal Watters said he was
gay. I don't think it is true, and I think that I would have heard
something about it through my congregation. - I could be wrong of
course.
please post this to the board if you want, but please make sure my name
is not on the post.

Sorry everyone, I just found this email.........
Hi,
I am very sorry, I am such a twit. I told you before that brother
Algar is our District Overseer and that I saw him three weeks ago. I am
very sorry I was wrong, he was our old DO and I don't know whether the
story about him is true or not. Sorry,

I could never figure out how David Algar managed to get to such a senior position - he's actually a nice person, not a grumpy old git! And shock horror - he actually makes assemblies entertaining and worth going to - extraordinary!

I replied to the other post about David Algar, the gist of it was that the person I asked thought he had gone from N.E.Scotland to 'somewhere like Malta'. I could ask around some more but it would arouse suspicion, I will do so however if there is no more reliable information.
tip #1: if your hedge cutter stops working you have most likely cut through the power cable .
tip #2 is never do gardening after drinking beer.. tip #3 is never do gardening.. .
damn these sunny afternoons - if it had rained at the weekend like it usually does then i would have had an excuse not to go out there in the first place!
Simon
Nice to know you where out there too! I hope you don't have as much hedge as we do. Don't you just hate that first cut of the year, so much trimmings to get rid of.
Beer and work don't really go hand in hand, althought I bet it was the drink that spurned you on to get the job underway? Is your hedge nice and straight? ;)
I hope you had a circuit breaker in line! We don't want this board going belly up now do we!?

in the past i have sometimes felt like i have to be the 'bad guy', so to speak, because i need to lock or delete topics, deactivate people, try and stop fights and such like - basically, telling people off and not being 'nice'.. well, apart from the odd heated debate and harsh word (and disruptive 'visit') i have not really had a great deal to do for the past month or two and it has been very nice - a pleasure to serve.. so ... i thought i should say a 'thank you' instead of a "stop it!
" for once
FANQU SIMON
he was a co/do and i understand from another db that he committed suicide.
my wife and i are quite shocked and saddened.

Well it used to bring the topic up to the top?

Bringing this to the top, can anyone confirm if this is correct?
