My DA Letter
by LB ini thought about writing "i quit" but it got a little wordier than i expected.

Great letter LB, once it's sent out it's like a weight off your shoulders, now you don't have to feel guilty about petty little things. When we sent out our DA letters, at the same time I sent the same letter out to at least 10 people in the congregation stating why we left. Your son may in time, if he hasn't already see the hypocricy.
even though you send a letter they may go by the book and want to meet with you. they did so with my hubby and he recorded everything that was said. LOL we think they recorded it too as you can hear screaching from time to time as the microphone (electronic interference) waves pass each other. Jackie

my husband and I celebrated before coming in the borg. two of our sons had a few X-mas's and I am so thankful I kept those precious pictures and not thrown them out with the other holiday stuff. Son # 3 will be celebrating his firsts with us this year and is making his list. the year we had quit (celebrating) I bought a small indoor norfolk island pine tree, still have it and now it's over 4 feet tall and ready to be one of many trees to be decorated this year. Holiday Crafts

hi, I noticed some foam ball bead and ribbon ornaments that you can easily do, They were at Walmart in the craft isle. I've made some crocheted snowflakes long ago that I always kept, if you crochet I can send you instructions. Jackie
and the stringing popcorn with or without crandberries is fun.
also check out the thrift stores, thats where I bought my blue ornaments, wreath and table decorations.

Funny story from when we were leaving.

is the COC book in his sight to where he can pick it up, lets say when your not around?
my husband had the book several months before I knew it existed, when it was out in the open, at first I didn't look at it, you know we were programmed to not look at apostate literature, but on the cover was something that caught my eye and that was that this was information from someone who had been there. I think the first thing I looked at was the double standard chapter and from there I didn't want anything to do with the hypocrites. Of course i was already making excuses not to be at the meetings after the dateline show aired. your right in not overloading him with to much at first.
