So when will I stop hating the organization?
by loosie ini have tried to stop hating the organization and all it stands for, but in 7 years i've had to luck in doing so.
i am going to therapy to work this out, but i still hate the wt borg.
i have heard it is bad for you to hate something for so long.

I understand you. I love the people on this board, but I also feel like my attatchment to this place kills me a little. I think part of us even when we are out of the organization has such an ingrained need to be a part of it (opposition is a part) and so we end up here. Now many come here, not so much because they hate the organization, but for the support. That, to me is very important and healthy when leaving behind something that was likely a huge part of your life. Being here, for me, makes me angry about things I shouln't even be involved in. I have learned enough that it would take a blow to the head to get me to knock on someones door ever again, yet I still come here, several times a day. I guess its a form of therapy. But it makes me hate them more. It hasn't happened yet, but it will, i'll mess up and get in someones radar and get disfellowshipped, and then they will take away my family. And its all bullshit, but I used to believe it, and be judgemental as they were, and I hate myself looking back. There's people I want to look up and call and just say, "hey your human, i'm human, live and let live, don't let anyone tell you any different". Maybe I should.
Anyway, I got off track, I think you would have to be so over it tha you just loose interest in anything JW, in order for the hate to go away. I'm not there yet.

Any new light on windows in the KH
by jam inremodeling is being done on the kh in my area.. friends have come to me inquiring about the remodeling.. it,s been two months.
first they ask , why no windows.. i told them some kh have windows.
soon after windows.

I told a JW friend that I was happier now than I ever was as a JW. His reply? "You must be getting laid" I reminded him that there are also great drugs out there! He doesn't talk to me so much anymore, can't figure out why...

What are the titles of the Congregation Elders?
by VM44 inwhat are the titles currently being usined for the congregational elders?.
"presiding overseer" was one title that was used for a long time, but i know that was changed awhile ago.. are they even called "overseers" anymore?.
what was the reason for the change?.

I think most have been changed to Coordinator.
the PO is now the COBE (Coordinator of the Body of Elders)

yesterday @ congregation part 2
by Gorbatchov init was an inspirational evening at the meeting yesterday evening.
there was a nice comments @ congregational bible study (former bookstudy) about listening and obying the slave.
"if we are told to go left, we are going left, if we are told to go right, we are going right".. the comment was welcomed by the book study elder of course.

his mouth fell wide open hearing the accusion of the catholic church in a magazine presentation demonstration.
the church was blamed for child abuse and the new order was the solution for this problem.. the watchtower society defends itselfs talking about abuse is a act of individual persons and no reason for blaming a whole religion.. everday the rank and file and the local and regional management of the witness blames institutions for every bad thing they can find, but dont want to look in the mirror..

Does the Watchtower School of Gilead still send out missionaries to foreign fields and if not how come..

" says on page 14 that the bible school of gilead sends out missionaries to foreign countries.
i thought this program was discontinued.

If I remember correctly, it was not discontinued, only changed to a invitation only course. You don't apply, you are called. And I think its only for those already in special full time service, such as CO's, DO's bethelites and special pioneers.
Changed because too many missionaries got to their assignment and it wasnt the spiritual paradise they imagined.
