Breaking bad is one of my favorite shows!
Edibles are nice, but as earlier mentioned, you can't control the high, as it takes so much longer to kick in. Every time I have done them, I have gotten way too high to do anything for the rest of the day, even a little sick maybe.
Smoking it, or vaporizing it, you feel the high very quickly, and can stop if its getting to be too much, and it wears of faster, so you can go on about your day and function well.
As far as it goes with jw's, its just one more thing they could df you for. Damn near anyone in any hall could be df'd if we looked close enough at their actions and thoughts.

by ShirleyW inwell actually my caller id said jehovahs witnesses, so it belongs to one of his ever so faithful servants who was trying to get in their hours this evening and was doing phone work, i just wonder how you can call a phone company and request a phone number under a name that belongs to a worldwide religion.
of course sis.
[name removed] from the [removed] congregation here in the city, started in with the hurricane sandy doom and gloom sermon, had to tell her ive heard that sermon since i was child in the 60s, asked why dubs do that when the scripture says no man knows the day nor hour basically she/they are still holding out for a holy calamity to do away with us evil folks of the world, she mentioned the earthquakes and pestilence and things are worse now than when you were a child, can they please get another script or something?

Thanks for sharing. She was probably calling from a kingdom hall, which could have a number registered under Jehovah's Witnesses. She was probably quite shocked to have someone who knew so much about JW's responding to her. I bet she calls back...

moshe, I can imagine that may be true. From what I hear he was very kind and helpful to many who called, but I can only imagine how overwhelming it may have been. Just dealing with my own doubts and anxiety can be too much at times, and I only have a small handful of exjw's I communicate with, and with half of them we almost never speak of anything JW related.

uugh, I just made a long polite reply, but the internet hates me and stole it.
What I was basically gonna say is that some of us discussed this on reddit's exjw portion and concluded that it was likely not a JW reference but just picking on Bloomberg and Christie. But its still ok to laugh at the JW video, cause its freakin hillarious.

Creepy Talks
by d indo any of you remeber any talks that were creepy in nature.for example i remember a talk where a brother said "when the end comes your friends and family will be against you" now if that is not crazy i don't know what is.i remember alot of talks regarding bible prophecy and the end times.all of this did not help reinforce the sense of fear since it was 2007-2008 and the united states was going through a recession.this just proved to be fuel for their talks.give good experiences of any talks that you have had that proved to be either weird or very creepy..

That you should NEVER EVER EVER miss meetings, because one day you could get there and there could be a bus to take us all into hiding because the great tribulation was begining, and that no one that missed the meeting could be contacted and saved.

Service on holidays= unannounced visitors
by Honeybucket inits thanksgiving- that means all those who went out in service today come over to harrass those who are "spiritually weak".. 2 car groups have already stopped by, plus they said the co is going to stop by this afternoon.... they first off, dont call before they stop by and then they bring the whole car group in.. i have gotten texts from witnesses hoping to see me at meeting tonight since the co is in town.. why dont they just do some door-to-door?
if you dont want to do that on a holiday, dont go out in service!.
dont come and bug me because you dont want to knock on doors of "wordly" people.. witnesses feel they have the right to intrude in your life at anytime.

2 100+ pound muddy dogs roaming the yard keeps unannounced visitors to a minimum. They love my UPS guy though, because he is smart enough to bring treats for the dogs. But the JW's are too dull and cheap for something that creative.
