  The Rainbow Myth

  we've all heard the bibles' explanation of how the rainbow first appeared.

  now i not an expert in science but i believe rainbows have occured every since since light and moisture in the air have existed.. that would be way before the alledged global flood.. my dictionary describes a rainbow asan arch of prismatic colors found in the sky oposite the sun and caused by refraction, reflection and dispersion of light in raindrops.. my dictionary describes rain this way the condensed vapor.

  of the atmosphere falling in drops.. here's watchtowers definition of rain from the insite book page 728,. a vital part of the cycle by which water that rises into the atmosphereb as vapor from land and water surface of the globe and falls to the ground.....at an early point in the history of the preparation of the earth "god had not made it rain upon the earth "but" a mist would go up from the earth and it watered the entire surface of the ground.gen2:5,6;1:9-13. hmm,sounds like rain to me..   For rivers to even exist, there needs to be an enormous and continuous supply of water running into them, this is logical Yes?
  Water vapour, even in the most condensed form, is still just water vapour.

  At this high density, even if it could somehow make rivers, (which is unlikely for you need mountains, and according to some, this did not happen till after the flood, Hmmm!)
  life would be impossible for humans.!!!
  What about The Garden of Eden ? and then life outside it??. I can picture it now, Adam and Eve wearing rubber macs while planting rice, for they would be able to grow nothing else.
  Hey, without no direct sunlight, there would not be any vegatation anyway, let alone rainbows!!

  There are none so blind that do not wish to see.

  I'm Confessing All! Or Maybe Not.........

  do you think that confessing to misdeeds is a good thing?.

  when i was a jw, i was brought up to believe that confession + genuine repentance = forgiveness.

  now im not so sure that forgiveness is whats always needed.

  Listen, you can tell me and it will make you feel a lot better.

  By the way, do not Catholics also confess their sins?

  Blood

  having once been a public talks co-ordinator.. it was a source of bewilderment to me why no public talks were given on the subject of blood!.

  of all the public talk outlines i had to assign to speakers, none were on that subject.. now considering that j.ws are known to the outside world by two things, namely door knocking and refusal of blood tranfusions.

  it seemed strange that that there was not one public talk outline on that subject.. the only time we got a talk on it, was when i invited a local hospital liason elder to give a talk in our congregation.

  topics that are avoided.. in some groups, it might be a murder, or an act of incest.. but with the watchtower, of all the dark secrets hidden from view,.

  Listen folks.

  The Watchtower is just a multi- million dollar Printing Corperation.
  Religious beliefs have taken second place to finacial matters these days.
  Public relation officers are now virtualy in charge at Watchtower headquarters.
  Their minds have become numb to the sacrifice of innocence and innocent lives.
  So don't expect to see any more Crisis of conscience from any more GB members

  This was here in the UK.
  How about elsewhere? Heard any public talks on blood lately?

  him, and at Conventions you only allow them coloured pencils to play with for 7 hours of talks and you brag about him to all your friends....you might as well
  get a saddle for him and ride him because you broke his spirit and he
  is no longer a child..
