  i have been watching john edwards and his tv programme: crossing over.

  this man is evidently very sincere in his belief that those that have "passed over" to the other side(spirit life) desire to speak to the "living" who have been left grieving for their loved ones.. this man has demonstrated many times, a remarable ability in revealing knowledge of events and relationships peculiar only to those people he speaks with.. he says he recieves these messages in various forms.. .

  i am wondering what sjs take on this is, seeing she claims similar experiences?.

  everyone wants to find meaning and purpose in their life.

  people who have been taught to believe in the bible seek stuff in the bible to give them meaning in their life.

  some people make up stuff supposedly based on the bible to give them meaning in their life.. the watchtower society goes one step further: they make up stuff supposedly based on the bible to give their corporation meaning and importance in life.. far too many true believers have a difficult time accepting what should be obvious to any rational human: the bible meant exactly what it said.

  it was about 7:30 and i had no idea who it could be.

  i opened the door and 2 elders from our hall were standing there.

  this is the strangest thing that i have ever seen, and i have to ask cuz it's just sooooooo wacky, i'm just wondering what the hell it means: the jw guy that i have been seeing, well, he sometimes would wear two pairs of underwear?????

  I don't go along with the "shits his pants" theory, because he would keep the spare pair in his pockets.

  Rex, I found that book of interest. I posted part of it and then put a link for any who are interested.

  As regards proof of Christ and his ressurection.Well it is a weak God that leaves the majority of mankind down through the ages in ignorance concerning this "most impotant event".
  You make the Jews to be more powerfull than God in that they were in some large measure able to hide this miraculous event from the world.

  I expect that Rome was in league with the Devil also on this issue and the multitude of travelers and alien residents that passed through palestine.
  Goodness how do you keep the miracle of feeding those thousands of people quiet with only a couple of loaves and a fish?

  You said that the Koran texts support a virgin birth.

  To the muslim faith, the idea of God having a son, is ridiculous.
  That is why muslims only accept Jesus as a prophet, and not as a son of God.
  The texts you quoted, does not support the virgin birth story anyway.
  Not that I believe the koran anymore than the Bible, it is just for reference points only.
