King Solomon, what I meant is that the material universe will end up transforming into something else, even if it is in millions of years.

New World Translation Assaults on Language and Phrases that Always Wigged Me Out!
by DarioKehl ini listened to the august 4th episode of the healingxjws podcast where they interviewed a former jw circuit overseer.
he shared many great examples of how original meanings (especially poetry) were lost in this terrible translation.
it's worth listening to.

Sign they are very well aware of their own hypocrisy and that they don’t even believe in God. The Bible warns sternly against adding or taking anything out of it.

The material universe has an expiry date, energy doesn‘t.
In my opinion, the Bible is not a literal book, but it is not a book like any other.
Some people can not get anything out of it, though.

"we were just talking...shes not free to remarry...we werent flirting or doing anything wrong"
by WuzLovesDubs inthats what my soon to be exhusband just said to me.
i finally after 25 years of dealing with him and the jws and a litany of other shit, told him two weeks ago i want out.
he wrote me a letter this week and made a list of allllll the things he hates: about my beliefs, the fact that i left jehovah, broke my vows to god, my hobbies, celebrations, what i watch on tv, my parenting, keeping the kids out of the jws, not having any friends....and then said well i dont hate "you".

Wuzlovesdubs, this story seems to repeat itself over and over, they must have a secret manual on how to end a marriage and still look like the innocent part.
Personally I think he may be having a very physical affair with this sister, I have seen elders doing that for years while giving very nice talks at the hall and fooling everyone.
You are dealing with an hypocrite here, act accordingly.
Enjoy the rest of your life, and give him absolutely no explanations. If he harass you in any way, call the police.
You will be much better off without him. All the best.

It is interesting the point she makes at the end, that after mentioning how bad apostate sites are, they point out to theirs. It’s almost like if they are directing people to these sites.
Scary to think, that they preach that Gog of Magog will attack Jehovah’s people when Jehovah incites him to, using a strategic move.
They are preparing the rank and file for persecution on the one hand, and on the other they seem to be provoking it. Maybe they believe they are Jehovah himself.
Just a thought.

DO THREE ELDER'S MEAN IT IS JUDICIAL?!?
by DATA-DOG ini have a friend who met with a couple of elders recently and i was told things went well, no issues.
well a couple weeks later they stopped by my friends place, ( just to say hi ) right before they left they said, " hey can we meet again?
my friend said, " sure ".

I want this mafia out of my life, I only signed for a Bible study, was baptized as a minor, and from them on, was lied to every single day at every single meeting. I am totally disgusted by them, and everything they stand for, and they have absolutely no right to persecute me or anyone, I am a free citizen and it should be illegal that they bother me in any way with their intolerant and fanatic policies.
I want nothing to do with them for the rest of my life, and my not going to their meetings should be a clear enough sign.
Three elders or one elder, all the same to me, I want these ass****s out of my life once and for all.
Tell your friend to ignore them completely and if they keep harassing him to involve the authorities.

by minimus inbecause i was raised a witness, i don't think i was "uncomfortable" knocking on strangers' doors.

I think John Lennon was a very good song writer and singer, but wouldn’t follow him as a philosopher or politician. Believing in fairies, and in everything until it gets disproved doesn’t sound very helpful to me. We were given brains to use them.
Very idealistic people can become accomplices of people with no scruples, in disseminating an idea and making it look harmless or even positive when in fact is very damaging. About the song Imagine is a beautiful song, but a dangerous utopia if it was to be taken seriously.
Normal people usually love their country, (it’s like an extended family), their possessions, their religion (with its private and social aspects), and all men living as one is not possible as evil people do exist and living at peace with them is just not an option.
Everybody has the right to express their opinion, and to be respected, which doesn’t mean you have to agree with them.
The same way that you don’t go through life insulting people’s haircuts, or ties, you shouldn’t insult something far more sacred for them like their beliefs.
Each of us has a glimpse of reality, not the whole picture. Reality is what it is, with or without our believing in it, and at the end all that will survive of each of us is that which is positive, negative energy tends to its own destruction.

This doesn’t sound like the letter of a peaceful Christian, but the letter of an agitator.
This organization represents everything I despise, and I am disgusted that I was ever a part of it.
Behind their kingdom smiles, they are a destructive cult, that wants to destroy not only individuals, but most importantly with a very strong political agenda.
You can know a person (or organization), not only for their friends, but also for their enemies. The Catholic Church, has a lot of enemies, even to the point of trying to kill the previous Pope, (before the fall of Communism), and I will never be on the side of any of her enemies, in whatever front they choose to fight.
Sometimes the only way to destroy an organization is by infiltrating it, and I think the Church has been seriously infiltrated in order to undermine it.
If it is so much of an obstacle, it is a sign that it does a good work.
The Church was the keeper of knowledge for many centuries, valuable things always arise envy.
Those who seek to destroy it by infiltration, discredit, propaganda, etc, are the ones that should be put out of the picture.
