Memorial Attendance ???

hi all, anybody any anecdotal or actual idea of how attendance numbers went this year ?.

there are hints that it is well down, but is it ?

and if it is, will the borg stop crowing about the attendance as they always have ?.

Why do so many that leave wind up coming back?!

i have seen so many that have left.

and their life turned into a dumpster fire.

most do not live the average life of living in suburbs, raising a family.

In thinking about leaving, I regurgitate the old thought - Where do I go?... I will lose my friends. but now I am thinking, what friends? I thought that over and determined that I don't really have that many, it's a clickish congregation, age plays a factor in being asked out, as does being single, So really, all the nice smiles and how are you's in passing just don't make for good friends. I have been out of the hall for a month at a time with illnesses, but never received a call.- maybe 2 now that I think of it. Storms -- clean it myself or hire someone... so what am I doing there??

I have started to reconnect with my family and am having a ball.. they don't smoke, don't drink to excess and have great family get-togethers.....

Call me slow fade

Sign JW Data Protection Form Or Else!

in spain (and the rest of europe), the "improved" data protection laws come into force on 25th may 2018. this is a good thing and sadly america is still lagging behind; not surprising with their current president!.

watchtower legal department are hot on the case and have instructed elders to hand out the new "release" forms out to all the publishers in their groups, whilst making it clear to them that they won't have any privileges if they refuse to do so!.

note these points in the instructions:.

Could signing allow WTBTS to tell the law they will not release any records to them because they now speak for the pub (who committed child abuse) and pull out this legal document to prove it?

Would save society millions and stop bankruptcy...

the many and complex issues surrounding the collection of person data and new laws aiming to protect individuals control of their own privacy, seem to have hatched about the same time as the governing body expressed their hope that it´s own 8 million would obey their order to "sign this form" effectively transfering total authority over privacy and data issues over to the borg.. what are your thoughts on this coincidence?.

zuckerberg lost billion$$ when people realized that he had prostituted their personal data and now wt wants the same signed access that he had to info that is $$$.... wt already owns all the real estate and now wants to own all the data.... it´s a current and global issue - please share your thought with the rest of us here.. .

So is this form that the WTBTS meant to be able suppress personal information of the pub should that pub be a child abuser?

Is the WTBTS doing this to actually say to the law they cannot hand over personal information due to the signing of this privacy info of a suspected abuser?

It would save the society from going bankrupt.... just a thought

Personal Data Permission (Spain)

i had the meeting yesterday and there it was announced that there will be a new law passed in spain regarding personal data.

that law makes it compulsory for the wt spanish branch to collect a signed permission from the publishers to keep and utilize personal data.

no choice was given to us, we were just told to make sure we hand in our signed permissions before may 18th.

Would this "privacy Form" be required so as to protect child molesters from releasing information to police, lawyers, etc. because they now have signed over to the WTBTS to be their representative in keeping things quiet?

So Jesus goes to Warwick... Meets with the GB and says "Let all the children come to me" - What do you think would happen? How many thousands of children would turn them in? FInd the GB bloodguilty - they have treated these children with contempt and most of all, the kids have lost the trust the society instilled in them at an early age - groomed to LOVE our brothers and sisters ....so to speak... by not hearing of their plight and the GB wanting to hid their money that they are sucking out of the pubs when the perp is found guilty in a court of law- these children are as lost souls due to the GB ignorance and GREED..and lie when it gets too hot, as Geoff Jackson did in Australia at the ARC where 1,006 perps were uncovered who were never reported to police and probably abused more than one child--that leads to several thousand abuses in Australia alone.. ole Jackies home land.

They have abused and discredited the God of the Scriptures-- blackened His name and hid behind one scripture that was used for adult crimes....who really wants to do door to door anymore???or attend meetings?? Memorial numbers down in hall this year.....

The EU is covering a case now about those who proselytize - who else? and that they are collecting private information on those they call on and revisit. 27 countries will have to follow the directive along with JWs when decision is reached.
