Changes In Canada

i am surprised no one has mentioned what is going on in canada.. maybe they have but i missed it.

so here are some of the facts as i know them.

ontario only.. sault st. marie had their six congregations whittled down to two.

This list is not just for 2019- it carries on to October 24, 2020 and since covid has kept halls closed, this could be the latest report - mine is on here but two others are not and as far as donations--- they are sending them in like crazy- I dont know what is happening in other areas and I dont know if they are lying when they read the reports to make it look good, but if numbers are correct, they are not losing on that end and yet the halls sit unsold. Maintenance only.

when i was a kid in the late sixties the type of books we would study was very intense compared to the bull shit pablum that they put out today?

i mean the finished mystery and others now its these stupid books that don't dive deep into the beliefs.

With the newer older books, Ezekiel, Jeremiah Daniel and the old Revelation - big red one and the Babylon the Great - which I still have.. allowed people to think, allowed pubs to dive deep and do proper research - peoples names where added to the "quoted - Today yu cant get an answer if you have a question- from elders or society who do not want any questions sent to Bethels - they feel all questions answered. The QTA today are made up and do not come from pubs unless they are revived from years ago.

"replies and "proof" to day they can get sued when editing a scientist if not done correctly. It was all new then - now there are script writers carefully making sure everyone is staying with the old writings of Russell and Rutherford by changing various wordings, buzzwords, etc.- they never go far way from original thoughs This why you cannot get anything new, because there isnt anything new- publications are now directed towards the lowest common denominator people - simplicity and pablum To those in for years it is total repetition to obey, listen, and be bored Take alook back at 2-3 years worth of wt and awake - you will see the same articles presented in different format andr they cant deviate it would not compute

Why is the Watchtower "soft" on China?

let's see, wt is "banned" in china.

the wt preaches that reaching everyone on the planet is so important, yet they barely have a footprint in china.

if saving lives was so important, why do they not aggressively proselytize in china?

Interesting to note- they keep pubs informed of prison sentences handed out to fellow believers among the worlds population of 7.8 billion. They do not mention the fact that it is not only JW's being persecuted - there are over 50 countries intensely persecuting those who believe the bible. North Korea heading the list with most Islaamic countries and China. The phillipines years ago was noted for the beheading of pioneers from the society- men and women. Some here may remember that...

Pioneers/missionaries are sent mostly to "safe" countries. The countries that would not allow witnessing always had cargo ships calling at ports - around this area anyway. Individual pioneers(male) usually loaded up with mags and books and left them with the workers on these ships where no witnessing was allowed in their country of origin. In that way, the society always said it got the message out there and into the countries.

When you take a look at 2019 memorial attendance you note 21 million attended - even if you timed that by 5 it would mean about 100 million may "come in" during the GT.. that represents maybe 13-15% of worlds population I think. so their idea of worldwide witnessing is not correct. I can be corrected maybe but thats my take.

Was 2019 the last convention ever?

in a recent feel-good instagram post about the 2019 international convention, a jw remarked, "was it the last convention we will have?".

there is no doubt jw's feel they are truly special and that world events revolve around them directly.

there is also no doubt that whether we get a vaccine for covid or not, and at the moment, its looking very certain that we will, that the world will continue to spin and life will go on, regardless of the beliefs of the jw's.. once the pandemic is over i'm wondering if some jw's will realise that even though they lived through a notable period of time, life kept sailing on, and maybe they aren't that special after all?

The anointing oil used y the priests were a type of drug, the fasting and 40 days on a mountain or in the desert without food would cause one to hear and see things not normal, anyone watch a current tv series of people sent out to various ungodly regions of the earth without food or water and have to search for it for 21/40 days? Many do not last- the body breaks down, yet many inspirations were given under these conditions in the biblical days.

My answer is - why not medical M J? You can get so many types for pain or anxiety -whatever the issue is.. if you can grow your own, it is organic- no chemicals. Its a plant. If controlled properly it wont eat your stomach or affect the liver as tylenol or aspirin will- T3's? Yu can get it in pill form from doctor.

That is why all older publications have been ordered destroyed. The Red Revelation book shown here with Christ and crown and the had coming from the back is also showing the rod in his hand to be made of wood.

There are several other pictures in the book as well and there is no mistaking they were intentional.

BT - like the wording "inoculation theory"- its fitting, seeing that an inoculation takes time to do its work so too does the society in putting all shortcomings into print or talks that the pubs slowly get accustomed to (repetition, repetition} and accept. This thought process- mental adjusting the congregations or associates or whatever they are calling publishers now, have been brainwashed to accept.. without question, and has been going on for years. They plant ideas/ thoughts/suggestions in study lessons and voila- its fact in 6 months. They use buzz words i.e. it is though/ perhaps/ we have ascertained.... and so on

Its a psychological given, but unfortunately, tied in with worship that if ever shaken, people feel they have lost their faith, their life, their everything- so it goes on unquestioned.
