Meal or two might work, all love a gathering, however, the cliques still remain and elders would come to the meal just to be seen. Otherwise elders would go back to their favorites after that. Ever since the tick that u r a JW went into play, no call, no asking how are you doing? NADA

I believe this was a well planned shock just before memorial so numbers would be better. Has there been any updates at hall level as to numbers increased this year that are way over expected? This had been planned for some time but when to drop it was the work of experts. The PR team they have know all the timings of news releases, why not the beard, slacks, etc. changes? I find it disgusting that comments indicate this "blessing" has been new light from above. Always beards in scripture, their pictures of Jesus show him in a beard yet they denied every male from having one? Foolish men in the congregation believed what they said on their power trip.
A well timed news release to bring people back in- hopefully they won't fall for this new scam to get money.

A Positive Approach to discussing the changes - Gov Body Update Aftermath
by Jehalapeno inso, just got off a very emotional, but positive call with my father.. this past weekend, he wanted to give me a call, but i was out of town at a wedding, so he said he'd call me later in the week.. he texted me the governing body update video with the recent changes and said, "i thought you might be interested in some of the changes that were just announced.".
i'm tired of self-censorship, so i decided to reply as truthfully and respectfully as i could.. my reply to him:.
it's interesting.

Your a good son. Respectful as well, maybe, not hearing from him for some time. Sounds like he is thinking and your answers will give him pause to think of everything occurring, although, probably, like most older ones, won't know what to do or where to go as the scripture " to whom will we go" will be forefront in his mind. I wouldn't doubt the org will be mentioning that from time to time to bring the flock back.

Trust Our (Neither Inspired Nor Infallible) Life Saving Direction?
by Ron.W. inwt 2013 11/15 p. 20. at that time, the life-saving direction that we receive from jehovah’s organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.
all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.. wt feb 2017.
"the governing body is neither inspired nor infallible.

Take a look at question 2- they removed the words, holy spirit and replace with with Gods organization, which it is not! They changed scripture to suit their construct.

Will recent dress-code changes affect the WTS negatively?
by Wonderment inin a span of a few months time, we have had many unexpected changes announced by the jw organization.
some here have expressed the belief that a great number of witnesses will leave the religion.
in fact, there is a great probability the opposite will be true.. yeah, ancient hardliners will have a hard time assimilating these changes, but the younger generation will likely welcome these changes.

I am a NPIMO - not physically in but mentally out - I go on zoom but have no contact with the hall or sometimes, not even the meetings. I am on the line, organization wise, and these changes are not surprising. Following the board and news from country to country, it was a given that things had to change. Unfortunately, the GB say they received the message from on high, so as to make the pubs believe it was His idea to put all these changes in place. They (cong) will go along with it, it will take time to see results. They are still pushing field service and cart work and pioneering! Hell, there are 45 from this one congregation signed up for March/April. For me I will be following the new clothes directive and loving it all the way for the one day soon to come. I am going as I want to be nosy and see who are doing what after all this good news was delivered. Looks like there is more than one type of "Good News".

Hopefully this is just a start and other countries, especially in the EU will take notice. That will alert other countries, Australia, Britain, and the US where all the ca cases are going on.
Excellent! Where are the newspapers? Is the org PR team on this to catch and kill? -

New approach to ministry
by Mikejw inthere is a new approach to ministry where the direction is to just talk to people and listen to what they want to talk about.
the new school for the midweek meeting is completely different and is all about the new approach .
even before the no reporting changes field service dropped right off.

Oh my, I am so disappointed. Each month I would get a text from an elder asking for my time and "how are you doing". Now, with the thumbs up click, no text even to say Hi, How are you?

For all JW's: Stop calling others "apostates."
by BoogerMan inif you don't want to be thrown into gehenna, read what your own faithful evil slave & christ say:.
cj chap.
3 p. 110 chapter 3 - "jesus christ said: “whoever says, ‘you despicable fool!’ (apostate) will be liable to the fiery gehenna.” (matt.

What they fail to say is that mostly, folks who are called apostate, to a jw it means they have left Jehovah and Jesus and the holy spirit. Well they are wrong in that, because they just left an organization that has blackwashed all that with their lies. If a person wakes up the only thing applying to them is, they left a massive control organization that USES God, Jesus and holy spirit to their dirty end. I am sure people who have seen the light still have their own connection to God. That is the biggest thing they can't take away but this org has the dermerity to say all who leave are apostates. The label is to keep the flock from engaging.

Waiting On Jehovah First Mentioned?

Also, when issues with the brothers and sisters arise or there is a media report about a negativity, the catch phrase is" wait on Jehovah, He will take care of it". But if you are the one having the issue, it's damn hard to hear that, knowing the elders are not doing their job in reporting to local authorities, depending on what has happened. Or a brother has run off with your money, or your wife, and so on. It's their way out when they do not know what to do... Blame it on the rain.
