it is my opinion and just my opinion, but any girl that gives it up that easy is very very loose, or just plain ole drunk.. while i am a proponent of waiting until marriage, i can deal with a couple gettting it on after they have been together a number of months. And a 28year old living with his MOMMY and broke,,,, sounds like a REAL winner.. you have to remember that RELATIONSHIPS are not about sex(although it enhances it and adds to a good relationship), sex is about sex , especially sex outside of marriage. if someone is ok with the mindset that sex is just an act to have fun for a night or two, they can usually find a way to deal with that by themselves, but trying to build a new relationship filled with love, trust, and respect is hard enought without adding sex into the mix, they are 2 seperate things at that time...

these are just my thoughts and personal opinions, they may help, they may hinder, take what you want or just ingnor the whole stupid paragraph!

Is this legal?

if a former jw decided to put on a suit and tie and go door to door trying to place old wt magazines and books they had laying around, and asking for a small donation, but using the proceeds to buy beer, is that illegal in any way?

the funny thing is asking for a donation never caught on with me, i have never did it. even now when they do demonstrations during the announcements they don't have the people ask, we had 2 pioneers do a demo a few weeks ago and they didn't even ask..

The Article on Apostates

i would like some info on the latest jw 'apostate' article so i can see what drivel the flock is being fed about those who are of my persuasion.

the next article is very interesting, it is another one of those articles that speaks in generalities and to the person who may not look at it with a critical eye you come away with the thought " if it is negative about the watchtower society or jw's in general , it just CAN"T be true". the article again spooks people away from just about speaking anything they don't have FIRSTHAND knowledge about "even if the source is reputable", because they MAY not have firsthand knowledge!

there is a pic of a man reflecting on his thoughts with smaller pictures behind him,,, they are 1. a computer screen behind him(internet sites) 2. tv with a talk show theme(dateline, or the news) 3. a hand written letter(maybe an old friend, or a mass mailed DA letter?)

the only facts that are left out is what to do when the info and knowledge you heard is get this,,,,ACTUALLY TRUE!!!!!!!! we all know that some exagerate, or outright lie to stir the pot, but most ammo against the society is legitamate truth, that they have twisted.

why won't they just admit to some mistakes instead of covering them up?

nice job,, keep up the good work,,, i think i will use some of your comments during the study, i have to agree that i hate the study articles that are just the manuscripts of talks given at conventions, i Hate repetition, and i also hate when studies are way too simplistic . NO ONE needs a study to learn how to pay attention!!!! either you do or you don't . either you want to or you don't want to! the only excuse most people come up with for a study like this is " it is for the new ones, young ones, and those in countries FAR less advanced than our country (ie. third world contries)... but that is crap.

keep up the "studying"

Field Service Reporting To Book Study

about three or four months ago the organization changed the way field service time is reported... they decided that everyone would not drop their time card in a box in the kingdumb hall but rather leave the report with their book study conductor.

i liked the fact before that i could leave the report with someone i seldom saw.

with the change i realized that with this change the elders had even more control and influence on me.

good news for you .... you don't have to turn in a report to the cbs conductor. the letter to the cong and to the boe in feb outlining the new arrangement clearly stated that the box for the time slips WILL STILL BE USED. in our hall i just turn mine in to the box a few days or a week before the end of the month (sometimes i estimate) so when my conductor bothers me i just say " it is taken care of"...

btw ,,,, i did drop a note in the box asking for the elders to STOP asking for the slips, and it has seemed to kind of work..
