Why aren't congregations much bigger in size?

like that, they wouldn't need so many elders and ms. they would have plenty of brothers to read and pass the mic.. no where in the bible do they mention how big or small a congregation should be.
if ever one day they have a hard time forming enough ms and elders, wouldn't it be simpler to just make congregations larger?

back in the early days russel was selling shares in the WTBS and they had shareholders at annual meetings but that all seemed to disappear after the 1970's

Is the midweek meeting the new bookstudy in regards to attendance?
by solomon inwe had our circuit assembly last weekend and this was one of the needs of the circuit.
one of the main points was mid week meeting attendance.
apparently the attendance is very low.

We had our circuit assembly last weekend and this was one of the needs of the circuit. One of the main points was mid week meeting attendance. Apparently the attendance is very low. It reminded me of how very few went to the book study and they used to complain about it.
Now it is the mid week meeting that has low attendance. And I understand family worship is low also.
One more point from the needs of the circuit: Not enough of you lazy bastards are pioneering!
