So I got engaged...

...to my boyfriend, we're going to have one of those weddings ('gay' weddings to the straights).. although my jw family know i'm gay, and not going to meetings, only one of my sisters has sussed the situation.

but i think after 3 years it's about time i told them.

especially if sometime in the future i'll turn up with a (gay) wedding ring.

Should I go to the special assembly day tomorrow?

so i haven't been to a meeting for about two months now, but the program for tomorrow's special assembly day here in the uk looks like it could be a good opportunity for me to gather some info.

take a recording device and get some much needed ammunition to use to try and get my parents to stop going.. it looks like the program is going to be very "you need to trust the organisation" based.

i don't want to go, but like i said it could be a good opportunity.

or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that jesus christ is in youunless indeed you [a]fail the test?.

at the annual meeting, one of the gb said that this scripture does not mean to test the "religion" you are in is the right one.

i just had to say that the attendants at our tie in annual meeting were like the nazis!

seriously, you could feel the tension!

the cobe almost had a heart attack, since he was coordinating the tie in.
