Jay,
I guess it really is sad but I kept thinking how funny it sounded to say,
Depends on if I have time for it!
The way I was taught, you would have all the time in the world in the new order!

But what are some of the personal, more unique things that you would like to do? Or you can elaborate on some of the more common things that we look forward to. Here are some of mine: - being assigned to teach a resurrected one from Medieval times - control my emotions - sing with King David - have perfect sense of time and never being late for meetings...LOL - my rate of metabolism will be perfect - see the resurrected ones' reactions to what has happened since they've gone - hear reactions of those who died suddenly or who thought they were going to heaven - be able to truly meditate on Jehovah's laws and not have an imperfect mind to contend with - not losing keys to anything (keys are to protect and since no one will steal.....) - play the piano - build a house that is log cabin, victorian, and modern, all combined with rooms of various colors and themes.....whew! Well, that's all for now. How about yours!! SuperChic WOL Stepper posted 09-23-2001 08:30 PM Well..where do I begin! WHat I would really love to do is be surrounded by older Bible characters and to be able to relate to them what it was like to live in the time of the end. How I was able to see certain prophecies that they wrote come true. I'd also like to fulfill my thoughts of being an architect and design and build my own home, completely made out of natural wood located out in the mountains somewhere. I wouldn't mind having more children - without the pain! I'm going to start a corn field right away If I could - I love corn! And to have a variety of it, since the Awake highlights the problems of not using biodiversity and genetic engineering. Hum, what else...I'ld like a house, any kind, as long it had a big porch with a bunch of rockers and a big window seat to read. And a big big tub, so that I can soak completely, not having my knees sticking out, small tub, sigh... And that is just for starters... Penny Posts: 49 | From: Nova Scotia | IP: Logged

My spelling is terrible!!
If I can tell someone is trying, then spelling errors do not bother me.
But a person who obviously doesn’t care drives me crazy!!
Several times my husband has walked through the room as I’m posting and on more than one occasion I have said, “I love spell check”
The other day I said it and he said “Well you can consider that your Anniversary present this year”
I said “You varmint what are you talking about?”
He just said I go on and on about it so he thought he’d take credit for it.
LOL
Well I said “That’s not gonna fly.”

everyone on jw.com were jws and attended the same congregation.
now, i'm not saying that we'd follow brooklyn's rules (how boring).
instead what would it be like jw.com style.
We don't need slides when we have a huge movie screen on stage!
Whe can have real movies!

last night at meeting, the circuit overseer said in his talk "and there has even been talk of hiv / aids tainted blood that has slipped through the screening process in the aftermath of the world trade center bombing, contaminating the survivors of the tragedy.
can you imagine, surviving the world trade center bombing, then finding out you have contracted hiv?
" he made no references to any newspapers or where he got this information from.

I haven't personally heard anything about Hiv tainted blood getting into the blood supply since 9/11 but I have heard stories of people going to donate blood for the first time and later after their blood was tested finding out they had Hiv.This makes much more sense with what I have seen when donating blood.
Red Cross requires you to agree to have your blood tested for Hiv and hepititis before you donate here. Then you fill out a form and answer questions that feret out if you are at risk, then you put a sticker on the form in private that tells them if you want your blood used or not just in case you were too imbarrased to tell the truth on the form ,then your blood is tested anyway no matter what your answer is.
Also I have found this interesting,They informed me in the literature that I had to read ahead of time that my blood would be seperated into three components if found useable. The Red cross may do it differently in other areas but this is the way it is here.

i recently watched a movie about a struggle for survival.
the story was set in a military prison where a recently incarcerated general led an uprising against a cruel and murderous colonel who happened to be the warden of the prison.
the general on newly arriving wanted nothing to do with dissidents saying he had fought all the wars he wanted to.

Msil,
Hi,
Hope your doing well today.
I'm not sure if I know what your trying to say here but I sometimes think it's best to stay silent and let idiots make fools of themselves.
Sometimes silence is more powerful than opposing oppinions.
I'll call it "The give em enough rope and they'll hang themselves"
approach.
I guess I'm trying to say there's more than one way of handeling things we don't agree with.

i have tears in my eyes now after reading jukief's posts about the sacrifices that alan has made to teach us all so much.
i remember when i made my first tentative post almost 2 years ago on h2o asking questions about custody issues and jw spouses.
alan was the first person who answered my inquiries, offering references for me to look at.
My husband and I both expend alot of time in this ex JW business also.
There are times that I get sick of it all and move on for awhile.
When I move on and my husband is still going full steam ahead I sometimes feel angry and jealous. The same happens when the reverse happens. But we still have this in common no matter what and I see that it is not the same with our children.
They are wanting to leave it all in the past and they can't figure out why we can't.
I try to explain but it's still hard for them at times.
We both have to work hard to strike a balance not neglecting one another or the children.
We are no perfect but all we can do is try.
I hope our kids are succesful in leaving this all behind and not have this need that we do(I don't know what to call it).I am enjoying introducing them to new experiences, it's good for them and me.
We just gotta do our best not to loose what's most important to us over all of this.
