  i have a request.. could you perhaps state all the real facts that support the idea of the gb being inspired by god?.

  i am not talking about feelings, faith etc.

  but of real proveable fact...things that would be accepted in a court or that would survive scientific testing.

  for instance a prophecy stating a very unlikely event that came actually true and was written prior to the fullfillment.

  while in illinois over the holidays we had our son craig (who normally lives with his dad).

  i dropped him off at the kh as my wife and i went to mass.

  after mass we went to pick up craig, and as the wastetower study was not over yet we sat in for the last 15 minutes (gag!).

  the wts turned out to be right and in the next couple of years the great tribulation broke out?

  would you have a change of heart and think "yeah maybe the were right all along!"?

  would you even consider joining them again?

  just recieved a new letter from the society.

  it is another begging letter for contributions, in it they explain the british tax relief given to them as a charity .

  for every 1 pound donated the goverment will give them an extra 28p if it is donated under the gift aid arrangement.

  do i agree with jesus' teachings? YES 100% ...they are great.

  does that mean i believe jesus is God? NO...since there is no evidence suggesting that...and there were other who taught the same things.

  What was your deadline?

  when you joined the jw's, what year did you set in your mind as the latest date for the new system?

  we were all told that the end was very close, but how close did you think it was, when you joined?

  if you would have known that the end was atleast 30 or 50 years away, would you have pioneered as much, or would you have given as much time to them, or would you have kept much more time for yourself?

  Pathetic Circuit Assembly Experiences

  i just got back from today's circuit assembly.

  i haven't been to one in the last 1 and a half yrs.

  obviously, nothing has changed.

  But one day, this neighbor got sick and quickly got into his car to rush to the hospital. He drove so quickly, he found himself in the ditch. A number of people, including the brother came to his aid and got him out. He went to the hospital but he kept getting sicker. Eventually, you'll never guess what happened. He died. Then the D.O. concluded with the thought that we should always rely upon Jehovah because He will take care of things in his due time.............Any comments?
