Zork....any and all Zork.
Actually all of the Infocom text games were great. Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy especially.
Space Quest, King's Quest, Dark Seed (Giger illustrations are supremely creepy), Lighthouse.

Modern-day Israel's Identity
by Onetruesource ini would like to open this discussion on israel, because i have come to learn many things about it.
the bible scriptures continue to prophecy about the nation of israel.
we all know that the natural nation has been disowned by jehovah, because unfaithfulness.

You know, Zep, being called a swine might not be such a bad thing. After all, pigs are highly intelligent creatures.

So THIS is where everyone went!
by Spock inokay i figured it was time to "widen out" cybernetically speaking.
i am inactive now but have 28 years of jw experience, including bethel, ivcw, pioneering, eldering in spanish congregations, and "need greater" (unofficial missionary) time in paraguay (the country's only german-speaking group) and in dominican republic.. now that i've established my rather impressive credentials, allow me to bestow the formal vulcan benediction to all (if i can do it right).. <img src=" http://www.egreetings.com/e-products/m_postreply/card_gif/epgi1400.gif">

Since I don't know a lot of you...
by Tishie inwould anyone mind doing one of those famous internet introduction sessions?.
since i completely and thoroughly filled out my profile, i think you all know enough about me :) and if you are bad, bad people, you might even know my history with the jws.
but, i'll give you the run-down, since i'm asking.. my real name is teresa (tishie being a nickname from my husband [tish, actually], which i adapted for the 'net about 5 or 6 years ago because i didn't like running into other teresas... eh, rf?)..

Well, you of course know me. I haven't posted my bio on the other board because I've just been too damn lazy.
I've been inactive for quite some time, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't mention that information here initially because I thought that I would be kicked out. Little did I know that everyone here disdains the shunning that goes on on other JW boards.
I have my crew of 7 cats, 3 horses, 3 dogs, 2 chinchillas, 6 finches, and various assorted fish.
I have been enjoying myself by experimenting with all the things that I was not allowed to do as a JW....writing stories, dabbling in sculpture, reading forbidden books (teehee)....trying to fit in all the things I missed during my 30-year stint as a model JW.

Seven, sounds like a good CD. I have several of the Chieftains' CD's, but not this one....I'll have to look for it.

Loreena McKennitt....I just love her music. Have you ever listened to Gordon Bok? He's a folk singer from Maine....plays the twelve-string and has some wonderfully melancholy Down-Easter-type songs.
