Jesus didn't come to condemn doubters. Jesus was a revolutionary. He came to rebuke the religious leaders of his day for being hypocrites and legalists. Jesus would have shown up at the convention and taken out a whip. -

Back in the Basement
by LostGeneration inlooks like the faithful jws are back in the basement, the oct 15th wt has this image on page 9. but now the lights have been turned out!
i guess the persecution is really kicking in if the electric company has shut off their electricity, or the jws are really, really paranoid that the government is gonna get them if they have the lights on!.
only one guy is smart enough to use his tablet (far right), the rest of the jws are old school, using a lantern to read their bibles in the dark!

Reading this might be hard.. Emotionally.. This is the truth...
by Jaewook kim inevery second our watch ticks, thats frequency of our current time.
the frequency will hit our reality every 1 second.. same method for rainbow frequency.. this is where i need your scientists.
need confirmation of change on fact of time.. and this... is truth of jehovah.... under sugar water, blue light will appear on left side.. under salt water, red light will appear on right side.. this concept is same for our heart.

Jae I don't really understand what your theory is. It's not coming across clearly enough. -

Elders, disfellowshipping, & baseball umpires
by sir82 inok bear with me for second on this one..... i was just reading the other day about "pitchf/x", a type of technology that can accurately track whether a pitch in baseball is a ball or a strike.. a couple of analysts went over 6 years of baseball data.. it turns out that umpires are wrong about balls & strikes about 14% of the time.
what they call a "ball" is really a "strike" about 13% of the time, and what they call a "strike" is really a "ball" about 15% of the time.
here is the article.. that's at the major league level.. umpires have to work their way up to the major leagues, just as players do.

Korean witnesses have it very bad. There's all the normal pressure of being Korean (you have to be perfect!) which is exponentialized by also being a witness. -

WHAT JESUS REALLY MEANT Vs the GOVERNING BODY'S VERSION OF THE BIBLE.
by skepticSam ini found these contrasts incredible, anyone who claims that following the watchtower's bizarre aloof teachings is a "insurance policy" needs to have their heads examined.
these people were once in line with the watchtower's leaders until they got tossed out of the organization during the great purging of anointed jws in 2012.. the more i am around the worldly people, the more i see how insane jws are and the lack of love they have.
their selfish, always wanting to mooch off each other, steal from their brothers and sisters, evade taxes, cheat and hate playing by the rules.

This belief of theirs is absolutely repulsive to me. Twisted, WRONG, evil. -

What Would Happen if the Watchtower Loses Their TAX EXEMPT STATUS?
by John Aquila inwould it really affect them?
how would it affect volunteers at any construction project since that work would now be taxable.
any materials they buy would be taxable.

I think it would be great. But I hope instead that religious organizations have to prove how charitable they are to remain tax exempt. I think it would be so funny if witnesses HAD to suddenly start feeding/housing the homeless and hungry. That would be a hoot. And it would actually help some people. -

Life after JW
by bsand20 inhaven't been on this site since fall of last year.
i was very active in spreading awareness and getting information to help me cope with the fact that my mother cut off complete communication with me as of jan 2014, but i guess too much of a good thing was too much for me to handle.
i ended up getting panic/anxiety attacks.

i'm sorry this is happening to you. Your mom is a victim. Her mind is being controlled. Try not to take it too personally. Keep that in perspective. It is also her huge loss she won't get to be close to her grandbaby.
Concentrate on your baby. You're going to give it the wonderful childhood that you never had. Don't let anything else get in the way. Something got in the way for you, but you are stronger than your mom, and you aren't going to let that happen to your child.

Why is the Governing Body pushing the very young(5-12 year old) into getting baptized into subservience to the Corporation?
by Brokeback Watchtower ini think a very simple reason may be because the very young are pretty much the only ones naive enough to take the plunge these days.
with the internet available to inform people about the deceptive lies printed by the wt corporation it seems that they are getting their member from the less informed population like the elderly and the very young.
they/gb hate higher education because they loose members who get one and so they are focusing on those that are dumb enough to believe their boogie man bull shit about jehovah choosing their corporation and anybody not a part of it he will destroyed at armageddon.. also we need to consider that they view these young people as a potential free labor source so the sooner you get them hooked into baptism with the threat of disfellowshipping you can get more free labor out of them..

Are they simplifying the questions now? Making them more first grade level? Are they more like 'what's your favorite color?' And 'what is your dream paradise pet?'
