  Advice Needed - JW Grandparents

  my family has been out (inactive no meeting attendance or field service) for just over two years..

  weve made many changes in our lives, including with our personal appearances (tattoos, piercings etc) that are a pretty obvious sign that we arent going back any time soon.

  our families went through a period of time about a year ago when they made a lot of threats that if we left the truth, they wouldnt even be able to share a meal with us, they would stay loyal to jehovah etc.

  I think this Caleb and Sophia thing is going to backfire on them. It's like Barney and the 'clean up, clean up' song, trying to get kids to think cleaning up is fun. Kids know they are being indoctrinated. They know when parents are buying just 'educational' toys and that the others are usually more fun.

  Now kids have grown up a little and are really annoyed by Barney, ESPECIALLY that clean up clean up song. This stuff works on only very small children, once they're 7 they're starting to think 'that Sophia was stupid to give her money away instead of buying an ice cream. And Sophia is annoying. And Caleb and Sophia is for babies.' They're going to remember all the reprimanding and rules those videos were showing, and they're going to hate it. They're going to rebel in a way that WE never have.

  I Don't Get It!

  there are literally about thirty young single very good looking sisters in this one kingdom hall under the age of 30. that is just one kingdom hall.

  in the circuit there are literally hundreds of young beautiful jw girls under 30 who are single and anxious to get married.

  about two years ago, this one single good looking brother who is about 30 years old and who is an elder married this plain looking sister who is 59 years old.

  Help me identify a small cyst...

  i'm having problems identifying a small cyst that i get every once in a great blue moon.

  i like to call it a lollipop cyst because it looks like a really small lollipop.

  so, it's basically a small cyst at the tip of a really small shaft (not my penis).

  You can also simply snip them off with scissors, especially if the base is thinner. A little bleeding will result but a band aid will fix that. Your rubbing alcohol is probably drying it out too. I've never had one but my young daughter gets them.

  Fink, I wouldn't say its a genetic defect, but a genetic variance. Like blue eyes.

  Which brings me to a question, have they found the 'gay' gene? I don't recall a news story about this, but it seems probable they will if they haven't already.

  Some men just like a more mature woman. Maybe their personalities go great together and they love eachother. Plus she has a good job and a home, kinda takes the pressure off.

  You have some interesting thoughts, but Where does john 1:1 fit into this theory? In the beginning the word was, and the word was with god, and the word was god.

  Also colossians where it says jesus created all things.

  Jesus is the only begotten son of God because man begets man, but God begets god. Jesus is the only begotten son of God because he is the the only one in the same substance of his being, and exact image.

  i am looking for some songs that are in ref to celebrating leaving, seeing the light, realizing what you were told wasnt right, being happy w your life, etc etc.

  all those emotions about being controlled and repressed, being told what you can feel or think or how to live, blindly following the "brotherhood ".

  What percentage of the population are gay?

  during the long debate on the question of gay marriage, there have been many competing answers to the question of, "how many people are gay?".

  a very anti-gay christian minister in sydney, the reverend fred nile, (who is also a member of the state parliament) claims that the percentage is as low as 1%.. some university (u.of new south wales) research in sydney has suggested 5%, but the authors of the study cautioned that there was a problem in the fact that an unknown number of respondents would likely not admit to being gay.. there are other problems in asking the question.

  for example, what does being gay mean?

  My thoughts on the RC 2015

  having endured three days of dashing attempts at further indoctrination, i feel the need to write up some of the stuff i left with.

  it is just good therapy.. right away the change was noticeable in the air.

  the assembly hall in la feria, tx still smells like new.

  Lieu, you sound like me! I was so excited after my friend told me she saw them at smart & final, but I searched and she was mistaken :(. Dang! They were so good. Some years I was all about the apple, some years all about the cheese. Sometimes you could sneak eating some during the program too. Esp during the drama! Take the Danish out of the plastic during music or applause, eat it in the dark :).

  im seriously craving one of those Danishes. It's been how many years? 15? 20?
