  hi everyone i’m not pimi or pimo i’m pima.. i don’t think the gb have everything right but i’m sitting on the fence that maybe they do some things.. if the great trib starts i will jump that side of the fence.. this is a definite little sneaky advantage dodging but even by their own doctrine last min some could come in.. i suspect many are like me.. i spent years in bethel and am very disappointed and disillusioned by it all.. but at the end of the day i love the bible and think it is the word of god and i don’t see any other religion that comes as close to what jesus describes his true followers or who are fulfilling mat 24:14..

  I certainly do not

  but some people get mixed up with bones and fossils

  fossils are not bones they are imprints in rocks

  Is there really any universal issue of Sovereignty?

  i can agree that satan doesn't see god as a good ruler as stated at gen 3:1-5. he doesn't seem to see gods laws as right or good.

  but whether there is an understanding/agreement between god and satan afterward to the effect that he can take the mantle of rulership to show whether his style is best is doubtful.

  that conclusion is probably reached because god hasn't destroyed satan, and he is also called the ruler of the world in the bible.

  I did read the post and it makes no sense. When Satan challenged the issue of universal sovereignty (the teacher was challenged by the rebellious student) there was no gunman coming in shooting people.

  The other students were the other spirit creatures.

  the teacher could throw him out but then the issue still hasn’t been settled.

  the rebel would need to be given enough time, if it was cut short too soon someone could claim if they had a bit longer then independent rule from God would have been better

  Possibilities-

  Either he was disfellowshipped over a year ago and his attempt to be reinstated failed last night this is why he snapped,

  or he got reproved over a year ago and it has gone on and on lots of meetings and shepherding calls which ultimately resulted in an announcement last night that he is no longer a JW, this is what made him snap.

  I know from experience that these things can take a long time with two elders assigned to do an investigation and then report back to the body. Then they write to the branch who take ages to reply, it all takes a long time

  cofty could you answer how the single cell came about by chance?.

  i know the argument for complexity in nature says natural selection over billions of years but this could not explain the complexity of the single cell the building blocks of life?.

  If you are an evolutionist then fair enough you don’t have to come up with any reasons for suffering it’s all random and there is no purpose to anything

  If you believe the origin was intelligent design and you don’t believe the Bibles explanation of the issue of universal sovereignty then what is the reason there is so much suffering?

  I haven’t read any books on biological evolution

  but I do read a lot of books on many subjects and I think you shouldn’t need to have long complicated books if it could be proven then we evolved then it would be easy to prove through the fossil records

  but it no the fossil record shows no evolutionary changes at all

  ancient fossils are no change from same creatures today

  Im not as convinced as you, and yes I do read many books and I do think objectively.

  Im still agnostic until I’m convinced otherwise

  so what is known so far? It sounds like 8 dead and an unknown number injured

  he was between 30-40 and dis fellowshiped about a year and a half earlier

  he shot through the windows apparently so from now on even fewer windows on those Khalls

  I wonder if we will all go back to zoom o ku for a time? Often there are copycat events after something like this
