  meaning there could not have been an even more simple cell before hand

  so the question is how did the simplest cell come about to start with?

  I did read all the posts but forgive me it requires so much mental gymnastics and sounds baffling. The truth should be simple.

  Yes I’m PIMA, physically in mentally agnostic. Sitting on the fence but I find the Bible very interesting to study in depth. As well as many other books including those that argued Darwin’s chance theory that something came from nothing.

  Agnostic means one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god. : a person who is unwilling to commit to an opinion about something. political agnostics.

  I am unwilling to commit to either intelligence or chance as to the origin of the universe, until evidence is overwhelming.

  At the moment there still is no overwhelming evidence of the theory of evolution.

  If this theory was true there real should be overwhelming evidence that is easy to understand and not the bullshit baffled brains technique.

  So much mental gymnastics are required with Darwin’s theories or indeed new updated theories about something coming from nothing by chance.

  I know full well this can be said from intelligent design side also, that God came from ‘time indefinite’ but there has to be something that never had a beginning or else what was before that?

  Is there really any universal issue of Sovereignty?

  i can agree that satan doesn't see god as a good ruler as stated at gen 3:1-5. he doesn't seem to see gods laws as right or good.

  but whether there is an understanding/agreement between god and satan afterward to the effect that he can take the mantle of rulership to show whether his style is best is doubtful.

  that conclusion is probably reached because god hasn't destroyed satan, and he is also called the ruler of the world in the bible.

  hi everyone i’m not pimi or pimo i’m pima.. i don’t think the gb have everything right but i’m sitting on the fence that maybe they do some things.. if the great trib starts i will jump that side of the fence.. this is a definite little sneaky advantage dodging but even by their own doctrine last min some could come in.. i suspect many are like me.. i spent years in bethel and am very disappointed and disillusioned by it all.. but at the end of the day i love the bible and think it is the word of god and i don’t see any other religion that comes as close to what jesus describes his true followers or who are fulfilling mat 24:14..

  I did read the post and it makes no sense. When Satan challenged the issue of universal sovereignty (the teacher was challenged by the rebellious student) there was no gunman coming in shooting people.

  The other students were the other spirit creatures.

  the teacher could throw him out but then the issue still hasn’t been settled.

  the rebel would need to be given enough time, if it was cut short too soon someone could claim if they had a bit longer then independent rule from God would have been better

  Possibilities-

  Either he was disfellowshipped over a year ago and his attempt to be reinstated failed last night this is why he snapped,

  or he got reproved over a year ago and it has gone on and on lots of meetings and shepherding calls which ultimately resulted in an announcement last night that he is no longer a JW, this is what made him snap.

  I know from experience that these things can take a long time with two elders assigned to do an investigation and then report back to the body. Then they write to the branch who take ages to reply, it all takes a long time
