  elder: a spiritually mature male witness appointed to teach and to provide pastoral care for the well-being of congregation members.

  an elder must meet the scriptural qualifications as outlined at 1 timothy 3:1-7; titus 1:5-9; james 3:17, 18; and 1 peter 5:2.. elders are not paid ministers and are not employees of their respective congregation or any corporation associated with jehovah’s witnesses.

  I have been an elder for a long time and still am. Although I’m agnostic which means I won’t commit to either intelligent design or chance.

  what I can tell you is that there is a rapidly declining number of brothers who want to reach out as it’s called.

  standards are lowering age is lowering but still there is a shortage of brothers who accept being an appointed man.

  our elders meetings going over brothers who we think could reach out are showing huge decline in expectations.

  years ago a brother never would have been considered for various reasons but now he is being asked but usually they say no thanks. Life is hard enough why take on all that o top of what I’m already dealing with.

  The CO is asking brothers to just take it on, he says Jehovah will help you.

  result is in many congregations there are some brothers becoming elders who would not have years ago.

  but there is such a shortage now sometimes sister are doing microphones

  there is not enough brothers to do all the jobs and they are not getting done well

  That time someone noticed him buying whiskey was a good example, he must be very very careful now. There are millions and millions of people who recognise him and are particularly interested in getting him on camera.

  Person I’m still an elder but I obviously don’t think the GB are inspired by Jehovah if he even exists.

  During the GB coercion to take the death jabs that was the final straw.

  now I’m PIMA. Mentally Agnostic. I still think the evidence points to intelligent design as the origin of everything but I’m agnostic so certainly open to blind chance evolution if the missing link is ever found or if evolution is not a theory anymore if it could be proven that it would change to fact.

  the real meaning of agnostic is a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (such as God) is unknown and probably unknowable. broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god. : a person who is unwilling to commit to an opinion about something. political agnostics.

  that’s me. I’m unwilling to commit to either intelligent design or chance.

  But for now I’m enjoying being physically in. It’s my social life and I feel JWs are such good associations.

  I also think it’s a big protection living by Bible principles. I love the Bible and I think JWs have the best grasp of it these days with all the videos and good explanations before each new book.

  Will the Bible turn out to be just another book written by man or is there something special about it? I’m unwilling to commit but for now I love studying it.

  If JWs turn out to be correct I will last minute jump that side of the fence. This is a loophole that the Gov body don’t want everyone to know but by their own teaching some will just come in right at the last minute.

  so many on here could go and get reinstated and then be like me stay physically in for the benefits and they you could be mentally out or agnostic but still enjoy being in the congregation

  But back on topic the GBody pushing the death jabs was the final straw for me to know for certain they are not inspired by Jehovah God. It doesn’t mean I will leave the congregation or tell anyone my true feelings. This is why I like to vent on here it’s my only pressure release 😆

  Person it’s not yet common knowledge for all 8million JWs that the vaccines were not safe or effective.

  most still think it’s so wonderful having the gov body direction telling us to take the shots because if not for them we would not have known they were safe.

  I think there will come a time soon when it’s common knowledge that these vaccines were very dangerous for humans and they have damaged irreparably everyone who took it.

  once this happens and everyone knows then that will be the time that JWs will question why the direction from Jehovah was so wrong and so harmful

  the above verse is often quoted by jws both in general as a response to the idea of a deathless paradise and/or those promoting vegetarianism or veganism.. a letter in animal frontiers co-signed by nearly a thousand scientists is now warning that meat is crucial for a healthy lifestyle and livestock farming is too important to 'become the victim of zealotry'.. they stated the fact that most humans require the nutrients from eggs, meat and dairy and that plant based alternatives are at least 4x more expensive (which implies much higher energy consumption in the process) and not scalable and outright dangerous to global health to support a large population shift towards them.. they also called out several recent papers for misleading information and even called for the outright retraction of one that said meat substitutions are a viable alternative.. not sure what the modern jw view on this is, i know many people in the borg promoted it back in the day.

  just goes to show that science does not support the notion of a global vegan diet..

  everyone without exception who goes 100% carnivore loses wait and inflammation and health problems reduce.

  it’s the toxins in the plant based foods that is causing so many health problems

  Nobody can try to argue there are no excess deaths. Everyone agrees there are.

  what is not clear is what is causing them. It must be something new and something that was taken more by those countries experiencing the higher numbers of excess deaths? I just can’t think what it could be???????

  It just could not be the shots because the Gov Body were pushing them like Jehovah gave them direction to push everyone into being fully vaccinated

  There is no getting away from the fact that they pushed the vaccines on all JWs and made it very clear the direction from Jehovah was to be fully vaccinated.

  This fact could be the most damaging to the rank and file more than anything else in JW history.

  The direction to be fully vaccinated can’t be excused or dismissed like other’s issues- ARComission, the blood issue the UN membership or Secret Society involvement or any other issues can be explained away by JW apologists

  but the direction to be fully vaccinated from Jehovah can’t ever be explained away as we see the numbers of excess deaths and excess health damage from the vaccines.

  It’s obviously the vaccines

  there have been far more witness funerals lately than ever before most cause of death was ‘died suddenly’

  Bows Road assembly hall has had a few large funerals for COs who died suddenly and as Elders we keep getting messages on JW hub about passing on zoom details about some funeral or other.

  I myself have given a few funerals since the excess deaths from the vaccines.

  what you have to understand is that the countries with the highest vaccination rates have the highest number of excess died suddenly numbers.

  you could say organisations with the highest vaccination rates are having the highest number of people dying suddenly.

  JWs had to follow direction from the GB to be fully vaccinated and they still have not done a U turn on the direction.

  As an elder I suspect I will be getting a lot more funeral details on JW hub from all the vax damage
