Resurrection Doctrine: It used to be that if you were disfellowshipped and died before Armageddon you would be resurrected unless you were really bad. Now, they are saying pretty much everyone will make it through and then during the 1000 year reign everyone can decide if they want to live in paradise

This changes everything. All those unbelieving spouses that the baptised spouse thought would die at Armageddon, now we are told they won’t die after all.

This sounds hilarious but it’s true, a lot of sisters with unbelieving husbands thought they just had to endure him a little longer and then they would get a new husband in the new world and now they have been told they will have their current one make it through. 😭

I don’t think the GB really thought this through. They are so confusing and inconsistent.

if the current doctrine is that only baptised witnesses are going to survive and everyone else burns them what about this new update new light that some from before the flood and sodomites will be resurrected?.

but didn’t he mention at the agm something about there is no point jehovah killing them and then resurrecting them again?

it seems they are confused about what they teach and that’s why brother jackson joked about “is this what we used to believe or what we believe now?”.

But there is the problem no zombie, they do say they are Jehovahs channel on earth. They do say you need to be baptised and just hope that maybe unbaptised children of baptised parents will make it. This is what the GB say.

this was a control mechanism just like hellfire doctrine other religions use.

if now they are saying “we can’t be dogmatic and we just don’t know, we are not inspired or infallible”

they lose that control mechanism!

my biggest question over this, to JW apologists who say other good unbaptised people will also make it, what about all the unwell children and especially orphans? Will they make it but not their parents? Then there is the problem that they will live with the knowledge that Jehovah murdered my parents? Or will they be resurrected? Then why kill them in the first place? Seems like a lot of unnecessary killing from a merciful God.

At the AGM they kept saying we must not be dogmatic but if they change the doctrine to you don’t need to be baptised to make it then that changes everything, and this does indeed seem to be what the new light is?

who pays for their care? When UK bethel moved a few years ago the lucky ones got to stay in the infirmary and the unlucky older ones were kicked out to fend for themselves

Covid Vx likened to Jesus ransom

this morning i decided to log into the local cong meeting on zoom, during the public talk the speaker likened the covid vx to jesus ransom sacrifice, saying that those who didn't avail of the vx, the 'anti vaxxers', are just like people who refuse to put faith in jesus.. i felt sick, knowing my unvxed but active jw parents were sitting there, i logged off immediately.

surely such talk is pure blasphemy or am i just over reacting?!.

i appreciate your thoughts, it will hopefully help me to approach my jw family with facts and logic, i'm praying they wake up fully and 'get out of her', i know they have reservations that's why they refused the vx..

The vaccine issue is the largest reason for PIMIs waking up. Before this they always had no doubt about following direction even if they didn’t agree but now they have doubts that the vaccine was as safe and effective as the GB direction said it was.

Be interesting to see next Kingdom ministry school if the coordinator still has to ask everyone individually to confirm if they are fully vaccinated like happened last year.

Apparently there were many brothers who were not allowed to go because they were not fully vaccinated.

At the moment the direction still hasn’t changed and we keep being told to follow direction no matter what. The direction is only fully vaccinated can be involved with any theocratic activity that you need to apply for like any of the schools or any services on building projects or even to volunteer to be a commuter worker at Bethel

Still no U turn on vax mandates for all schools

you still have to be fully vaccinated to attend any theocratic schools.

elders and ministerial servants have their kingdom ministry school every year, the cobe of every congregation has to check that everyone is fully vaccinated.

after the school everyone will ask any bothers who were not there why not?

That talk is not unusual we have had several similar and I remember at the hight of the pandemic talk was Jehovah made the vaccines available how wonderful he is, these vaccines are from Jehovah

the GB updates really aggressively pushed them having experiences of sister with cleaning jobs and only fully vaccinated could keep their jobs and all the sisters thanked the GB for letting them know the vaccine is safe and effective

another experience showed some brothers in South America who were worried that the vaccines were not safe but the GB updates put their mind at rest that these vaccines were from Jehovah and they are safe and effective.

now JWs are still going to get their boosters to remain fully vaccinated every six months or so and another sister in our cong has damaged her health by following the direction even though she didn’t want to keep getting these boosters

until they do a U turn on the direction everyone has to keep getting their latest booster shots because once you have gone longer than six months you are no longer fully vaccinated

I remember a lot of talk about donating to Jar Jireh homes. We had a special day at the KHall and lots of Donations

then we had a jumble sale where everyone donated things to raise money for the ‘old faithful ones’

I remember some saying you know it’s not a donation to the society it’s just company making a profit
