As time goes on it’s the exact opposite of Matt 24:14 being fulfilled.

Theory on the GB "new light" pushing back the final judgment.
by Jofi_Wofo ini know there are several threads already on this "new light", but i didn't see one that covered this particular angle.. since the gb seem to have an ulterior motive for everything they do, well beyond their publicly stated reasons, i began to wonder why they would be concerned with pushing back the closing of the window of jesus' judgement.
this is especially puzzling because the doctrine of the start of great tribulation being the final cutoff was one that the gb seemed to especially revel in for so long.
they could hang it over everyone's heads as a looming threat.

All around the world people wear local clothing to meetings. In Africa they wear local dress. Here in London even the Elders wear local dress code from original country.
At the memorial and conventions these days people wear dress code from other countries. White brothers borrowed Africa, Indian and Asian clothing.
it’s funny to see Japanese sisters in a Sari from India or non Japanese wearing Kimonos

It’s astounding that this has been kept hushed up for so long now, I mean does he go to meetings at all? If so why has nobody secretly recorded him? It is known where he lives and Serina Veryalomo went to his congregation.
There must be so much effort put into this, hushi money ect. It annoys me no end the way the Borg thinks it can just ignore problems so that rank and file wont ask questions.
The truth or at least some of it has to come out sooner or later.

It’s absolutely unfathomable that the Borg have lasted this long. Our grandparents in the Borg after the war in the 1940/50s thought it was right around the corner. They thought 1914 was so long ago it has to be soon.
Then the 60s early 70s they had 1975 to keep things going otherwise it would have fizzled out. How on earth anyone stayed in after 75 is beyond me.
Then they had all the WTowers saying the end will come before the end of the millennium so they were looking for the year 2000.
There has to be a time when we have got too far away from 1914 that it must have been a wrong teaching.
I would say now, here we are 2024 in a few weeks.
But let’s give them 6 more years to 2030, could they still cling onto this fundamental teaching or will they have to come up with new light about it.
It has been said, if they were wrong about 1914 then EVERYTHING falls apart.
Yes EVERYTHING FALLS APART.
The Borg has survived so much but not this. There is no way they could survive it becoming known they were wrong about 1914.

the weight and importance placed on quantity was enormous, and now it's just gone.
even tho most witnesses really didn't keep "accurate" records so to speak hehehe.... this could very well be a precursor to even bigger doctrinal changes, like 1914. damn, would would happen then?.

by Teddnzo ineven elders can be part of the new jw lite brigade these days.
they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.
i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

So in this new jw lite era we are now in, would it be possible to go from a baptised believer to a an inactive publisher who is not know as a witness? An official soft fade?
It used to be that once baptised you either left by disassociation or disfellowshiping. Or hard fade where you manage to avoid elders for a couple of years until you are no longer known in the community as a JW then you succeeded to hard fade. No shunning with hard fade you just left and even if you live with someone unmarried or something similar witnesses can still talk to you.
So with all the new light and changes recently, could someone try a soft fade where they stop in person meetings and only attend on zoom seldomly. Become inactive and always ignore elders attempting to get in contact.
After enough time the end goal would be people are not sure if they are still a witness or not. You would have to be very very careful not answer any sneaky questions trying to dig for info.
The success at the end should be the option to have associations with witnesses families and friends. Be a part of it all without giving away your true feelings.
I actually know of some who have done this for years now. They did get baptised when they were young but soft faded later, they had family who were PIMI so still kept friends with many in the congregation. Now they are no longer known as witnessed so they won’t ever have judicial proceedings but can still pretend to show interest in coming back which makes everyone love bomb you and you get invited to all the social gatherings

I guess it depends on what your definition of a troll is? Go ahead ask me some questions and then make up your own mind if I’m a troll or not by your definition?
I don’t really care either way, some people have some funny definitions of what a troll actually is and it’s none of my business.
Now getting back to this situation of the fully vaccinated sister who chose to end her marriage by following the direction of the GB. I am familiar with a case of exactly this happening a sister who has an unbelieving husband who would not let her take the vaccines. He actually said you are forbidden from taking these vaccines and she talked to the elders who told her to obey your husband unless it goes against Gods direction.
She thought she had to obey God rather than men and kept taking the vaccines to remain fully vaccinated and this ended the marriage.
It was a choice she had to make, she chose to take the vaccine knowing it would end the marriage. She is now alone in a tiny bed sit been kicked out of her husband’s house and he has a younger unvaccinated woman living there.
Apparently she blames the GB for ending her marriage. Of course the talk in the circuit is that her husband is a conspiracy theorist saying the shots are not safe, we know they are safe because Jehovah wouldn’t tell the GB to get everyone fully vaccinated if they were not safe.
