Official definition of Apostate
noun
a person who forsakes his religion, cause, party, etc.
at what point does a jehovah’s witness cease to be a jehovah’s witness?
what if a witness doesn't believe some of the official teachings of the governing body but remains silent on these subjects to avoid being disfellowshipped?
is he or she an apostate to the faith?

Leaving a faith doesn’t make you apostate by true definition. Only if you are actively speaking and acting against it do you become apostate.
I think some people twist this true definition to try to make it sound like everyone who doesn’t believe every word exactly is now apostate. This is untrue.
i think it was a john cedars video or someone else’s where the point was brought up that only baptised jws will be saved?
then one talk about kids of baptised jws hope they will make it but even them don’t know.
most jws probably think that some good people who are not baptised may make it through, but this is not official teaching?.
It used to be if an elder did not preside over his own household in a fine manner then his position would be called into question.
these days this has changed. There are elders who raised children who now adults who never got baptised and still living at home living lives that if they are baptised then they would be shunned. The father is still an elder.

So they say they had someone from the branch go to the UN for information to double check accuracy and pictures to use in the publications?
it came to my attention that the covid-19 vaccine works by editing the genetic code of the mitochondrial dna, using gene therapy.. you should seriously question the moral implications of allowing a part of your dna to be modified.
does anyone have any concerns about this?if anyone has any questions, i can do my best to explain.
i personally find it very suspicious how they chose to word it, and conveniently inform us of this fact "after" people have taken the vaccine..
Dr John Campbell now feels he has a target on his back because he is now saying there is overwhelming evidence these injections are not safe for humans in fact they are very dangerous

Pima means agnostic so we will not commit to either intelligently designed or chance.
If your asking have agnostics always been that way it’s different for each case. I think I’ve always been agnostic I’ve never absolutely believed in intelligent design I’ve always thought maybe, maybe not.
What does it even mean you never knew Jehovah? What about Father Christmas or the tooth fairy what if someone believed in them and then stopped believing. Would you ask them so you never knew the tooth fairy?

“One half of the recipients died within the first year of transfusion and the median time to death was 1.1 years. Survival rates at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years after transfusion were 32%, 22%, 15%, 12%, and 9%, respectively”
Yes it’s an advantage to be a JW for the better health care you get by avoiding blood. If the doctors know they can just pump more blood into you they can be sloppy. If they know they can’t then you have the very bet care and the HLC are watching what the doctors decide and they ask why were there more expensive drugs and procedures used which most people don’t know about.
there are advantages to staying physically in. This is why I’m PIMA.
agnostic means you can think for yourself and no cognitive dissidence will get in your way because your agnostic and can reap all the benefits from both sides
i wonder how many are like me staying pimo for the great association and gathering etc.
also find it very interesting having a front row seat watching the collapse of borg.. im not wasting any more time or money on anything i don’t want to do like preaching and mostly just go on zoom .
there is nothing i want to do that would be considered disfellowshiping sin, i’m married and want to live by bible principles but i have serious doubts that the gb were chosen by god and are his one and only spokesmen on earth.
You must have me mixed up with someone else
what did the following people have in common?.
1 job2 the widow of zaraphath3 naaman4 the samaritan leper (one of the 10 lepers)5 the roman army officer of capernaum6 cornelius and his guestsnone were ...israelitesjewish convertspart of the abrahamic covenantchristianspart of a christian congregationin a dedicated relationship with godorbaptizedhowever ...all were directly given holy spirit or individually blessed by god ... even though, they were not part of 'jehovah's organization'.take time to think what this really means.luke 4:24-29acts 10:34-35.
“But if that is that case, then modern day Witnesses should speak fondly of the people who become Catholics between the years of 4th and 14th century, as that organization was clearly used by God to preserve the Bible.”
Yes I have heard it said that Tindale and others who helped preserve the Bible were part of the 144k

If I left altogether POMO then I would feel I miss so many people who I have known all my life. Some I know very well and some I know a little but want to keep in touch over the years.
Its having that thing in common even if I think the GB are wrong about lots of things, It’s having that thing in common that is why JWs all have such good close friends.
All through history and all around the world there were groups of friends that shared an ideology or common interest that brought them together and made them closer than if they didn’t have that thing.
even if that thing was fictional (Star Trek for example) or the belief of something that wasn’t quite true but that doesn’t matter. As long as you are open to the fact that it may be not true but that doesn’t matter just get the benefits now.
The advantage of keeping one foot in and one foot out is that when you make decisions you can think clearly and not with a JW lense that the end is just around the corner.
I look at life with a lense that I am responsible for my life. I don’t know the truth about the Bible but I like studying it and it does benefit myself and my family. Going to meetings really does benefit my family and we have such good friends. It’s better than going to other places that cost a lot of money, and we have such good associations real friends.
I’m agnostic if there is a god or not but regardless the Bible is so interesting to study and talk about together as a congregation how it can benefit us all.
I personally love the Bibles advice about how to be happy and if it’s Gods word or man’s doesn’t matter.
So I’m keeping one foot in and one foot out. Best of both worlds.
