  Did You Ever Tell An Elder Off??? How Did It Feel???

  I agree with you Blondie. This is what I said to a Ministerial Servant in the Hall at the Sunday Meeting after he treated me disrespectfully:"You are speaking to me this way because my husband in not here - if he was present, here, you wouldn't speak to me like this! And I walked away. Hours passed after this incident, and he called me to apologize, and he agreed with me on what I had told him at the Hall - he said:" had your husband been present at the Hall, I wouldn't have made that remark". He told me he loved me as a sister, and I believed him. After that, whenever he would see me at the Hall, he would look at me - then ignore me. AAF

  is there any part of being a witness that you think is honestly the truth?

  so many people use the term "truth" when in fact there is no way to prove it is the truth.

  it used to be for me being raised a witness that i thought everything printed or said was the truth now i don't.

  According to the Watchtower's teachings with regards to the illustration the Seducees gave to Jesus regarding the wife who married seven times is that this wife is - actually of the Anointed Class!

  MATTHEW:" 22:29:"In reply Jesus said to them:" You are mistaken, because YOU know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God;

  MATTHEW:22:30:" for in the resurrection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage,"

  "Holy men "and "Holy Women" are not mentioned in Matthew 22:30.

  the "truth" is supposed to be sooo "refreshing".

  the publications talk about how "happy and refreshed" witnesses always are.

  " Did You Ever Feel Refreshed as ...."

  as a Watchtower Witness? How could you ever feel refreshed under so much pressure from the elders to do more? I NEVER DID feel refreshed spiritually, NO.

  When I was still in the Org., I attended a meeting where the Presiding Overseer was the speaker. The Circuit Overseer had just left the Congregation that week. And this is what the Presiding Overseer had to say of that (wonderful week) oops - NOT we had with our Brother Circuit Overseer :" Brothers and Sisters, we had a grueling week!"

  I tought then that this was a horrible thing to say, specially when Jesus addressed to the apostles that Jesus' load is light! I was so confused for so long!

  It's grueling to be a Watchtower Witness!

  Thank you for your post, Gadget. I really like what you said! They are indeed under mind control - they allow themselves to be ,and the result is disastrous! They act Un-godly, and Un-Christianly -( they are not Christians to me. Therefore I don't consider the ones who shun me Brother or Sister.

  And in my case they have shunned me completley even though I was never disfellowshipped. They are world's largest hypocrites!! They disgust me!!

  I too, I am inactive and have been shunned. Those who shun me - I consider them Un-Christian!

  Please don't lose faith in God despite what happened.

  I have a friend/Sister who is still in the Organization. I have explained to her where I stand as far the Watchtower's Teachings e.t.c. I told her that I am a witness of the God of the Bible and NOT a Watchtower Witness!

  She never reported me to the elders!

  I consider her my Spiritual Sister, ( who sadly follows the Watchtower for Bible interpretations and guidance ).

  She is special to me because she does NOT shun me.
