Mentally diseased ANOINTED!
by Normalfulla inmy aunt is a super uber jw, albeit a little more delusional than the standard issue jw.
she has 4 kids all who are out and never baptised, she's a widow now and sold the family home and has bought a new place and has plenty of cash in the bank.
my cousins are all very concerned because their mum has a new friend whos "anointed" and says jehovah has spoken to her and she will survive armageddon and so will her kids if she sticks close.. she has been paying out for holidays and vehicle repairs for this anointed sister and her extended family and my cousins are alarmed at whats going on and can see the situation for what it is.

I was thinking the same thing.
I think most witnesses would rather have an 'earthly hope', as being 'anointed' would mean dying. It scares them.
It also scares the GB when people say they are. Fear of loss of power. I feel thats why the GB is super vague about it and leave an air of confusion surrounding the issue.
So supposedly jws are taught that the top are certainly 'anointed'. Since they glorify themselves so much being 'anointed' the R&F are scared to potentially place themselves as "Christ bride" in such a high position when the GB says to be humble (obey us) and talk about the death of what would be billions.
Another thought is what the heck are the 'anointed' supposed to do after the 1000 year reign? really? cuddle with Christ forever.... and ever and ever and ever.
That I should have ever believed myself to be "anointed' strikes me now as the height of stupidity.
Everything dies! Eventually. Even planets and stars.

Also did she really tell her that Jh said that she will make it if she sticks close. What? Are 'anointed' giving channeled readings from God now? It sounds like this sick ass 'anointed' sister knows exactly what she is doing.

Movies that make you cry?
by new boy inthere have been many but i had a total melt down at the end of sophie's choice.
i hadn't cried in years before i saw that movie in in 1982. i was still very much a jw at the time.
i have no idea where the pain and sorrow came from, maybe it was the fact there are things people have gone through that we have defied all reason logic.

Legends of the Fall- I saw it in the theater and started crying as soon as Samuel died 25min in and didnt stop the whole movie. It was embarrassing. I took 3 days off work after, it hit me that hard.
I only watch it now when I know I need to cry for release but cant. And it still the same today as soon as Samuel dies the tears dont stop for the entire movie. Something about it rips me apart.
Mists of Avalon- with Angelica Houston. It rips me a new one.
Dances with Wolves- messes me up to. The part where the Hard and stern Native screams from the top of the mountain to Kevin Costner near the end ... just thinking about it tears me up...so I had better stop there.

Happened to me with 5 relatives. Why is it always the nice ones who die and never the narcissistic jacked up ones.
Anyway. I have this weird thing, Yes I know It wont be believed here by many, but each time I felt it and looked it up only to find they had passed that week. Each one.
Or lets just pass it off as luck, coincidence and timing.
Either way its not fair.

I thought I was of the anointed class since I was very little.
Finally I realized that I am, in the sense that no more than any other person that dies and is rejoined with the energy of the universe like every single living thing.
So I wouldn't call it anointed now for me. Just science of what happens at death. Your energy observably goes back out. ( Google Where does our energy go after death + science)
But as a JW this is easily twisted in their minds that know something is up yet ,cant break the cognitive dissonance barrier.

The paranormal.
by Lost in the fog ini know that a lot of the people on here have turned their backs on the idea of a deity deciding that god does not exist.
but what about the unseen spirit world generally such as poltergeists, jinns, voodoo, etc.

I once went to this Psychic lady and gave her a different name and would not provide my birthdate or any information. After about 15 min she near had a melt down.
I have also gone to another that refused to get my info and she nailed it.
Another time this dreadlock hippie dude read my cards and it made no sense whatsoever at all.
As far as links to where law enforcement has been helped, I dont feel like looking and debating it. Because its not that important to me. Just wanted others input on it.
I believe in hoaxs, frauds, and the paranormal. But certainly agree that the majority of it is complete bull crap.

Dating another Woke exJW or no?

so my question is , would it be easier to date someone that has been a jw and woke up or not?.
i would love for someone to 'get it' without having to explain much.

You've got to put on your big boy pants and forge through the wilderness in pursuit of who you really are and what you would like to accomplish in life. Move away....... clean up the JW's beliefs
I totally agree. I feel that this site forces one to "man up". Normally I don't like that saying but its really imperative to grab the jw bull crap by the horns and deal with it 100% , so I think its fitting.
I would expect someone to come in at 100% so I expect the same from myself.
Not looking for a crutch. Especially from a hung up jw or anyone for that matter.
Gio-You need to hook up with a person who is ready to meet and challenge life.
1000 times yes. Two people wanting and investing time into the other so that the can succeed in life is healthy. Anything less your selling yourself short.
