ADVICE NEEDED

a friend of mine called me today to tell me that the elders want to meet with her regarding something that happen in feb. she was seen smoking at a bar by two other witnesses.

she was privately reproved about a year ago for some "misconduct with a guy".

but since then hasnt gone to the meeting.

All bookstudies at the KH???

i know of a congregation on the east coast that is having all bookstudies meet at the kingdom hall!

that's right--no bookstudies in private homes, at least for now.... has anyone else heard of this?

and what could be the reason?

When I was growing up we had a contribution box in our house. I think more people contributed to that than the one at the Hall.....smaller group, easier for people to see you be so generous.

i was considering revealing my identity soon, but had a thought.

although i'm not active, i am well respected by my family and the witnesses from my past.

perhaps i could do more good for my family/friends and massive damage to the wt if i was to become active again.

I wouldn't advise it. You're in this life for YOU, not for anyone else. What good could you accomplish? Causing people to realize their religion is actually a Satanic cult? The ones you'll get to are ones that'll realize anyway. As for finding secrets from the inside? They're already all out. I would stay away, it's a risky business that could wind up getting you DFd and shunned by your family.....Let well enough alone.

Well, Maybe it's just me. It seems like there are alot of people down in the dumps, or gone.....Maybe it's just the threads I tend to read aren't there anymore. Oh well, hopefully it'll get better.

my digital camera will be back from the hospital by this weekend - i was wondering if i might be able to get pics of the local wt grunts as they set off to harrass the likes of the stonewalling unclebruce.

my question: do car groups always meet at the kh before leaving, or are there other meeting places?

is it up to individual car groups where they meet?
