Worst Thing Youve Done In A Meeting?
by chuckie77 inwhats the worst thing youve done during a meeting?
years ago, when i was a bit more wicked/naughty/younger than i am now, i thought i would take some drugs just prior to the meeting to see if it would make things any more interesting.
it didnt, but at least i enjoyed the kingdom melodies tapping my foot to the beat and bopping my head!!

Some People Enjoy Being Jehovah's Witnesses For Various Reasons
by minimus insome individuals truly enjoy being jehovah's witnesses.
i think about those that would have liked to be in acting.
well, having a part in a demonstration in the service meeting or giving a talk in the theocratic ministry school gives one the opportunity to act, be melodramatic, show a little comedic talent, etc.

What Doctrine Or Belief Didn"t You Agree W...
by minimus inwhen you get baptized, you are expected to swallow a multitude of beliefs that either you never really understood or simply didn't truly believe in.
when going over questions for baptism, almost nobody understood the concept of the"faithful and discreet slave".
yet after it was attempted to explain this mumbo-jumbo, every candidate meekly just went along with the explanation without ever truly understanding the fallacy.

What org rules were stupid to you?
by MARTINLEYSHON inwhen i was in the truth i thought that the most ludicrous and petty ruling they ever introduced and still practiced is that congregation book study conductors were and are responsible for collecting every group members report.
surely every member ought to be responsible for his/her own actions.
at the beginning of the following month and certainly before the 5th i would always receive the stupid telephone call from the secretary are you aware that 3 publishers havent reported?

Disassociation Rules Reaffirmed...???
by KissAFish injust wondering if this was only a localised event...but knowing the wts it mustn't be.... i heard thru fellow ex dub... that there was a big hoooohah talk about associating with disassociated and disfellowed jw's..everyone had "explained" to them the rules regarding"bad associations"...the wts stand on this is meant to be firming up even more.... my lovely jw sister, who by the way never wants to answer any queries, told me when i asked why the need for more policing, she said if i attacked her"faith" shed have to limit her "association" with me...i gave her a razzberry and said,.naaah... i am not ds'd or d'ad.. but she said that doesnt matter either...??
?it just seems like an extra excuse for emotional black mail to me... did anyone else hear of these talks..>???
