Know it’s not true but stay anyway
by Elena inhow many of the millions of jws know it’s not true but stay anyway?.
my guess is most jws know it’s not true on a subconscious level to an extent but they don’t want to think about it too much and would never ever voice it out loud.. but this is probably true with all religions around the world?.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are not the closest to the truth. There is no truth every human being on Earth is agnostic.
The true definition of diagnostic is you cannot prove that God exists and that you cannot prove that God doesn’t exist or evolutionist cannot prove to me that God does not exist. This means they are diagnostic by definition.
This is why I am staying Pima which stands for physically in mentally agnostic

An ex-elder once said to me, "If you want to just get by, there are a whole lot of religions easier to do it in than Jehovah's Witnesses."(Granted, that was back when you still had to report all your time.)
These days it’s just as easy in JWs as in any other religion or group.
The only problem is there are some over righteous zealots who class themselves as super spiritual and try to make others feel they are inferior.
but apart from them, it’s easy to just get by go to meetings on zoom or if you feel like it then in person occasionally

So his ex wife has a nice stepdad for the kids. They seem to be thriving lovely pics on social media.
Lloyd still can’t speak the language he has no friends and can’t get off his addiction to drugs and hookers
will Lloyd now take more illegal drugs to cope with his sad lonely life? He lives in a cheap grotty place with paper thin walls and by the sound of it has similar drug abuse neighbours.
how long before he moves back to the uk and asks his dad for help?

I think it’s the same for all religions. Around me here most people are church of this or that or whatever religion.
They find it beneficial but don’t really believe it all.
JWs like the sound of the Bibles promises but they know in their heart the GB have not got the correct interpretation

One I always found hard was there were no written languages before the flood. Or was it before Tower of Babel?
I don’t think it’s clear but they were supposed to live for several hundred years before the flood and no written works were said to have been made.

Japan JWs were stuck in the 1950s. They never got the memo’s. Then the media made a big deal about discipline for kids and shunning ect.
Now three foreign brothers have been sent to serve on the Japanese branch committee. They are really shaking things up.
One of the problems they were stuck in the past was they were too formal. Calling each other brother or sister last name every time in the park or shopping absolutely anywhere. Even husbands and wife’s were addressing each other like this and when a son got baptised his mum then called him brother last name.
now these new western branch committee bros have instructed COs toget all congregations to use first names or even nick names to be more friendly and less formal.
All elders have been asked to make Nick names for each other and use at all times even on the platform to encourage the rest of the congregation to use them too. This is supposed to make them more approachable.
this is only scratching the surface of the changes starting.
anyone else got any information about Japanese branch changes?

Then some new guy interviewed a Branch committee member and summarised the whole Saturday Dedication in 20 minutes,
They were both branch committee members. Steve Morrice is a long time big wig and the new one is the token black guy just to show diversity, they also have a token Asian on the branch committee for this purpose.
