I also asked how if the understanding of the prophecy fulfillments in Revelation was something that we all should believe or if there is a possibility that it is all wrong. Some of it seemed so silly and baseless in applying it to the conventions and resolutions of the 1920's and 30's.
That is what started me doubting that anything they were telling me was true. It was the pouring out of the bowls of God's wrath on the nations, and they said these bowls were resolutions passed by a few thousand people at a gathering in some obscure American city. How was that a global proclamation? 
My ex-father-in-law, I suspect, had the same doubts. He used to say, "Isn't it amazing how a bunch of old ladies sitting under the trees in Cedar Point fulfilled Bible prophecy?"
I never wrote to the Society, but my ex-husband did, a number of times. He received condescending replies along the lines of, "There, there, brother, don't fret about a little thing like that. That's a matter for us big boys to handle."

One thing that infuriated me when I was still in was all the backpedaling and rewriting of the 1975 debacle. I was 16 years old in 1975 and I remember well all the hype and excitement about '75. I told my (now ex) husband that they could revise it all they wanted, but I was there and I have a long memory. It was in the study articles, the freakin' Truth book, the yearbooks, and in every talk by a CO or at an assembly. We were saturated in 1975 hype.

)? That may be why they don't call. If you answered the door dozens of demons would fly out and instantly attach to the JWs. They may not have used their anti-demon spray that morning.
