  Any "inappropriate" or "saucy" conversations out in Field Service car groups???

  i thought of one that happened to me, i think i was 16 and regular pioneering at the time.

  i was in fs with my friend, i think she had to be about 18, and we were in a van with older married sisters, my friend and i were the only single ones.

  there were 6 of us in this van and my friend and i of course were forced to sit in the back (meaning we couldn't escape by jumping out of a moving van), anyway, the conversation turned to discussing molestation.. the two oldest sisters sitting in the front then started going into detail about how they had been molested, and it wasn't just "i was molested by..." no they went into detail.. i was shocked!

  Does anybody know how they elect new Governing Body members?

  does anybody know?.

  and, how do they choose who gets to be a member of the corporations?.

  Post cataract surgery Great News!

  my vision before the surgery was 20/60 in the eye that has had the surgery.

  i saw my eye dr today and it has moved up to 20/30.

  this is way beyond what i expected.

  an elder came around this morning at 9am to ask if my husband wanted to come with him on a bible study.

  my husband nipped from the bathroom to the bedroom in his undies to get dressed, while i talked to the elder!

  the elder talked about how he just happened to think my husband might be free this morning, and just happened to get a call from someone wanting a bible study, and then he said to me, "why don't you come visit my house some time?

  Outsourcing of printing?

  i heard through the grapevine this weekend that my second cousin and her husband made a trip to india to investigate possible outsourcing of printed docs for the wtbts.

  he is a uber bethelite in the purchasing dept and my cousin is a good bethelite wife.

  they were living in brooklyn but have been moved up to wallkill in the last few months.

  so this morning we flirt and i tell her what a "dirty girl" she is for buying those books...but i was thinking this from a girl who broke a frying pan on my car years ago because i didnt want to go to the meetings.

  slowly i wore down that rock that she is with little facts and qoutes...i would not have stayed with her if she remained the fanatic witness she was....also she now swears like a sailor...i like that..

  (reuters) - a south african cardinal who helped elect pope francis this week has told the bbc pedophilia is an illness and not a crime.. cardinal wilfrid fox napier, the catholic archbishop of durban, told bbc radio 5 on saturday that pedophilia was a "disorder" that needed to be treated.. "from my experience, pedophilia is actually an illness.

  "Do the Church & society not have to consider the damage he suffered when deciding what to do? Or does the abused abuser lose all his rights?

  Yeah, well, I was sexually abused by several family members when I was a kid and I'm not a pedophile. Being abused does not automatically make you an abuser.
