Wow. I don't remember anything that graphic being discussed. Of course, my pioneering days were spent with a carload of people over the age of 60.

Any "inappropriate" or "saucy" conversations out in Field Service car groups???
by Gojira_101 ini thought of one that happened to me, i think i was 16 and regular pioneering at the time.
i was in fs with my friend, i think she had to be about 18, and we were in a van with older married sisters, my friend and i were the only single ones.
there were 6 of us in this van and my friend and i of course were forced to sit in the back (meaning we couldn't escape by jumping out of a moving van), anyway, the conversation turned to discussing molestation.. the two oldest sisters sitting in the front then started going into detail about how they had been molested, and it wasn't just "i was molested by..." no they went into detail.. i was shocked!

I actually knew a few who were genuinely nice guys. Most of the time, however, the elders' lips were glued to the CO's butt, and the CO liked it.

Elders! Elders everywhere!
by Julia Orwell inan elder came around this morning at 9am to ask if my husband wanted to come with him on a bible study.
my husband nipped from the bathroom to the bedroom in his undies to get dressed, while i talked to the elder!
the elder talked about how he just happened to think my husband might be free this morning, and just happened to get a call from someone wanting a bible study, and then he said to me, "why don't you come visit my house some time?

"My concern: How can society deal justly, fairly & equitably with the abused, who has suffered incalculable damage, then goes on to abuse?
"Do the Church & society not have to consider the damage he suffered when deciding what to do? Or does the abused abuser lose all his rights?
Yeah, well, I was sexually abused by several family members when I was a kid and I'm not a pedophile. Being abused does not automatically make you an abuser.
