by pale.emperor inanother talk from my channel.. gerrit lösch - what the near future holds.
apparently, jehovah god has "revealed" the future to us... unfortunately in 2008 when this talk was given he didnt reveal to them the mass downsizing of bethel staff and buildings, the child molestation payouts and many many changes to doctrine.. https://youtu.be/d8pvnrv5s94.

ay impression was indeed - as the film appears on the top page of the German Patient Blood Management as uptodate material - and as the story is told as fight against resistance - that the film is used in education for the public and that it is not so old information and not yet out of date.
The film obviously run 2015 on swiss, german and ARTETV and is on 3 x on youtube.
Mostly I was interested to see Shander and Gombotz live, who always are referred to in the studies. They were important promotors of this "movement" together with Prof. Dr. Axel Hofmann, who is advocate of cost-efficiency, and Farmer Shander - a project that was originally sucessful in Western Australia.
The film gives the impression that everthing was very difficult for the Patient Blood Management and as if the older collegeus would prefer to give always transfusions. And as current the EU-Project is defined as clinical project for improvement of patients's care it appeared to me as if the whole PBM is something that is in the starting blocks.
Or is the PBM in reality a non-necessary lucrative busines-scheme, promoting cost-saving for own benefit - like the outsourcing-trend 15years ago, a consultant business, - because physicians already work anyway with these bloodsaving methods and dont need a special method imposed on their work? Layoffs in the bloodindustrie for new jobs in the Patient blood management.

The sound is unendurable to listen. Hardly to believe how long an hour or 50 minutes can be. The unloving stress and emphasis is clearly to hear in each sentence. Why did he talk about numbers, hours, percents, getting up,... What a voluntary service. Sitting there I would have Sudor anywhere.
But it fits in the picture of an organsiation that has only one purpose. teaching and stressing. The uber-GB-teachers are teaching the lower "CO-teachers" and the CO-teachers again teach the "CONGO-bible-teachers" in stressing teaching-assemblies about what: how to teach each other and "OUTSIDERS" in LOOVE and HUMBLENESS professionally and fully devoted with the correct attitude and correct uniform dress.
"Everything for the party taught the socialist the little girls. You as girl and boy have to be a model for the party, the society".
Yes even the children have to listen how the teachers teach each other whom you could stress ..sweat.
Its alife-long school and no end is in sight.

The message of the film is that safe blood can turn into bad blood as soon as it is the patient's body because of the body reactions.
A general statement blood is bad I can not subscribe“ said Prof. Zacharovski. Despite that the sensational title „BAD BLOOD“ was selected to „scare?“ the public. „Bad Blood - volte-face in intensive care medicine" by Ulricke Gehring, 2014. available in English
Its about the fight against public unawareness and resistance.
Accompany the swiss journalist Ulricke Gehring travelling to Germany, USA, Vienna and Brussel visiting the big primary rocks of the Patient Blood Management- initiative. Its about the working against public unawareness and resistance of the peers.
Prof. Zacharovski (head of European PBM Project) is a very rational person https://www.kgu.de/?id=1535, he visits Prof. Shander in Englewood and speaks about the German experiences and methods. Prof. Shander seems to be very missionaric and a fighter. comments to that effect "Transfusion medicine is so rooted, its not a thinking its a fault" or "truth will vindicate in the end". „Blood banks sayed to us: You should be talking to the users. Its the people that are using it are abusing it not us (blood community). The answer was with the blood bank community.
Prof. Gombotz Austria (from 2012) presents in the film his work. „blood is not bad per se but it is about the BODY's reaction“
Watcht many other surgeons at work and in interview, anaestheologicst, immunologists, cancerologists and patients after transfusion that had reactions
Prof. VANDEKERCKHOVE, President European Blood Alliance, speaking about the latest studies, Warns that we should not jump to conclusions and that conception of redblood units decreased, blood service is downsizing and about laying of employees.
Dr. Steinbicker about immunmodulatoric reaction after storage of blood – iron, anemia testing
Dr. Dana Fischer about effects of transfusions on human immun system, immun system can only fight on one front
Ulriche Gehring asks: And the Patients shall wait and see?

Why is a medical practice that is driven by religious beliefs being considered the best for everybody in the world?
Because at the moment
- J.W. are the patient group who mostly places value for a blood management
- J.W. simply need blood management
- they mostly called attention for the need of it
- in the public opinion they are seemingly all alone with their interest blood management and body's reaction

So the work is unmistakeable for J.W. promotional in the resp. chapters, but it is also the first basic frame for building up a professional system on which later other researcher can build up, and is certainly partly historically inaccurate because of ommission. But the positive effect is that the group of patients that is at present mostly concerned and daily has to cope with these procedures are for the first time explicitley addressed and have medical support.

Yes, and besides the above mentioend "basic principles" mentioned in chapter 20 "law ethics, religion and BM" of the textbook "Basics of Blood Management" there is a distinct chapter called "Jehovah's witnesses" included, simply the quote "J.W. love and cherish life", shows that this was a part written by J.W. HLC members, nobody else would write such a text.
It is therefore evidently that these parts of the scientic textbook were written mainly with the group of patients in mind which is mostly concerned - j.w. It shall be a helpf for doctors and nurses to better information about Jehovas witnesses. (?) These chapters are therefore of informational character. The inaccuracies could be inaccidently because nobody would be interested in awkward embarrasing details anyway, perhaps even neither HLC nor the authors were informed about those details about these persons you mention and they were not historians, or the HLC didnt support the two authors with accurate informations.
Concering Prof. Shander, I watched some videos with him he is a man who believes in a mission, he is a fighter against big resistance, he believes that he has a mission and that truth will vindicate in the end. (I will write later more about). It looks even like he was a J.W., how he talks and how he acts, the HLC may have influenced him and supported him in his mission, so he is now in an oneway of "missionary" combat.
I dont think that the WHO is accountable for the context of these books are has even read the content.

....here information that what I hope fits to the overall image, it originates from a polish article "Surgery in J.W. our experiences" and after a long extensive discussion (read & click on the link) concludes that
"We found that abdominal surgeries in our small group of Jehovah's Witnesses patients were safe. However, two of our female patients agreed to blood transfusion in a “life or death” situation after serious discussion with them. The first woman was a middle-aged mother and the second older female patient underwent major abdominal surgery and developed postoperative complications.
In the section "Discussion" following is stated about the mentioned reports:
In 1977, Ott and Cooley reported on 542 cardiovascular operations ...
= report: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/302345 (link added by me)performed on Jehovah's Witnesses without blood transfusion and concluded that this procedure could be done “with acceptably low risk”. He (who?) also did a statistical review of 1,026 operations (REVIEW not REPORT is this relevant?) and determined that the risk of surgery in patients of the Jehovah's Witness group was not substantially higher than for others [6, 13]. Similarly, DeBakey communicated that in the vast majority of situations involving Witnesses, the risk of operation without the use of blood transfusions was no greater than in those patients on whom he used blood transfusions [6]. Jassar et al. developed a comprehensive multimodality programme for Jehovah's Witness patients and obtained excellent results in cardiac surgery. Based on their 10-year experience, they reported that bloodless cardiac surgery in Jehovah's Witness patients could be performed with excellent outcomes in both elective and urgent situations. Major complication rates were not significantly different between the elective group and the urgent group [14]. Similarly, Vaislic et al. reported their 21-year experience in cardiac surgery based on 500 Jehovah's Witness patients and concluded that cardiac surgery without transfusion in high-risk Jehovah's Witnesses patients could be carried out with results equivalent to those of low-risk patients thanks to recent advances in surgical techniques and blood conservation protocols [15].

If we handle it as business investment, the investment was better than leaving money on the account. We see it is bearing interest. If you find 100 welsh speaking witnesses who donate=pay back e.g. $12 per month each you get in a year $14440, this equals a return of over 1 % for the investment of $1,400.000. Paybackperiod = 96 years.
