@raymond frantz
Here is my two cents.
I too have wondered about these two Witnesses over the years, and there is a disagreement among the commentators/scholars as to the identity of these two Witnesses. If we reduce the opinions into two groups: Enoch-Elijah and Moses-Elijah.
My opinion is that there is a connection between these two Witnesses of Rev and the 2 who appeared to Jesus (during transfiguration). They must also have been known historically and had something in common. Peter recognizes these two people when he sees them and wants to build them tents. So these two men must have been well known and there was no doubt about who they were when they appeared with Jesus.
I don't think Moses and Elijah have significant things in common, but Enoch and Elijah do: both were taken up to heaven without seeing death. The apocryphal writings also state that these two were kept as two Witnesses and that in due time they would descend to earth.

"How Long Would Jesus' Reign Be?"
by BoogerMan insimple enough question for a jw to answer, because the org has told them for over 100 years that, .
a) jesus would reign for 1000 years, and.
b) that his reign began in 1914 when he became king.

In order to understand this issue and others, I believe one must also include [so called Apocryphal] books removed from the scriptures, historic books that might be related and the opinions of Bible scholars in his/her examination that is free of any bias. Then I believe it will be possible to find the answers. The overall picture will look clearer when these little bits and pieces of information coming together like puzzle pieces. If we are seeking the truth, the information we find will make sense and we will be convinced.
Because our current (and maybe the only) understanding is relying completely on the "Organization" and its distorted interpretations, thinking outside the box can feel impossible (maybe we'll still be trying to rationalize the Organization's interpretation) and then at the end the simplicity of the answer we get can make us even doubt causing an unfillable void.

At least they gave credits.
Anyway, I've remarked also that the video is narrated by a woman. Did they do that previously or is it something new?

What is spiritual warfare.
by Hellothere inwhat is spiritual warfare to you?
i experienced a situation that i could clearly say was spiritual warfare.
but that was something i could only see years laters.
-
BelisemDeBelimakom
spiritual warfare: the invisible war in the invisible realm, between the forces of good and evil.
A Christian does not fight such war with visible means, especially using Satan's system, therefore, WT's way of fighting this war (without producing any good qualities, better people etc.) is completely designed for deceiving masses and pushing their agenda.

Is there really any universal issue of Sovereignty?
by Linda14 ini can agree that satan doesn't see god as a good ruler as stated at gen 3:1-5. he doesn't seem to see gods laws as right or good.
but whether there is an understanding/agreement between god and satan afterward to the effect that he can take the mantle of rulership to show whether his style is best is doubtful.
that conclusion is probably reached because god hasn't destroyed satan, and he is also called the ruler of the world in the bible.

While I was still a PIMI, this topic was always a mystery to me. Now, I don't believe in a "universal issue of Sovereignty" neither: that is minimizing God's power. I believe this term is created by WT or previous cults for their own purposes.
Reading the following books helped me to have a better view of God and His power over all His creation:
- The Book of Enoch, translated by R.H. Charles [1917]
Shows how God punished the rebel angels, how angels tremble before God.
- The Book of the Cave of Treasures, translated from the Syriac by E. A. Wallis Budge [1927]
Shows you how the revolt started with all its aftershocks in heaven.
- The Book of Adam and Eve (The Forgotten Books of Eden) edited by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr. [1926]
Detailed interactions of God and first couple after they were cast out of the Garden..

for the PIMO question as to A. Morris
by enoughisenough inhave the rank and file been told not to "gossip", or "question" about mr morris yet?
i am mindful of how questioning decisions was discouraged and being told to keep things confidential.
( maybe too soon, but do share if a special needs part comes up) you would think that common sense would tell them they cause the questions when they don't share reasons.

Here is what I received when I shared the news to a PIMI which summarize all:
Yes, I saw this. The natural thing is to "wonder". Hopefully all for good reasons.

The Mandalorian is an Apostate
by neat blue dog ini wonder how many jws will squirm watching the upcoming 3rd season of mandalorian in which out of compassion he was obliged to break certain rules of his religion and is now labeled an apostate.

Mandolarian was disfellowshipped and declared as apostate because he admitted honestly "he has removed his helmet" (renounced his
faith, creed). Decision was swift, taken by a female elder; no judicial comittees, no forms filled. See Boba Fett, Chapter 5 (S1:E5) starting @ 23:00 mark. -

The only thing WT care is the "brothers and sisters" (or specifically only their paid personnel), the rest is just for statistics. They do not care about and do absolutely nothing for any other people affected. For advertising purposes, I'm certain they will enact a scene where brothers are wearing helmets and providing some sort of help to local brothers as if they were helping all people.
They say two Disaster Relief Committees are "working" and "assisting" the search and rescue efforts.. This is simply not possible. We saw this during the pandemic. For brothers, they will send their best wishes (this is the spiritual assistance they mention), prayers (free of charge) and "keep yourselves warm and stay safe" messages. If there's really a need (financially or physically), the disaster team, elders and COs will all happily "remind" you (this is the assistance part) to claim free governmental aid or ask your close family members.
They are allowed to spend money from Bethel's vault only for those who work for them, not the volunteers but paid staff. All others should be financed by their families or by the government aid or by local brothers & sisters.
