Is There a Higher Conscious

most of the individuals here from what i have read have gravitated to believing in evolution for various reasons and no longer have a belief in a creator.. the questions begs though, is there a higher conscious in the universe than mankind's.

i am sure everyone agrees that animals are conscious, but to what extent can they reason?.

We could very well be part of a vast multi-verse. Quantum Entanglement appears to be true. Light can be a particle and a wave at the same time. Reality is affected by observation. There’s Dark Matter, Worm Holes, Oceans under the Ocean... Ancient and mysterious Civilizations being found with Laser Radar in Rain Forests. There’s Fungi that appear to attract animals ( Humans too ) so they can spread their spores. Plants are conscious although not as we traditionally view consciousness. We could be controlled by tiny organisms that make us want to eat certain things. AND...this could be some kind of a simulation..

In short, their is some weird and amazing things out there. Is there a collective consciousness? Maybe...

Things seem a mess and there is no good choice to vote for. Trump and Biden... Yeah... neither is good, but I digress.

So, my GFs family are die hard Pentecostals ( UPC? ) Down with UPC?? Yeah you know me!! I couldn’t resist... Anyhow, they are ate up with the idea that the USA is God’s instrument to protect Israel. Lots of Christians seem to believe this and its nonsense in my opinion.

Where did this idea that Israel matters even come from? Seems like the idea is kept alive by old, white Xians. I wonder what they would all say if Israel was hit by a meteor and wiped off the face of the Earth and there’s not rapture or end of the world?

Has anyone researched this subject? Any websites I can go to? What do you think about it? I think the idea of protecting Israel has to be one the dumbest, progress limiting wastes of time and money ever conceived.
